Ashley decided to rest at the Pokémon center before leaving Pewter city, she wanted her Pokémon to have a small break before she trains them so they will be ready for the next gym battle she decided she will go back to find a grass type so she can capture the Pokémon and to train it so it can ready for the next gym battle which is the water type gym.
Ashley is in the viridian forest again searching for A grass type Pokémon, she wants one anyways so that she will have most of the types anyways, but she will change out her Pokémon and train them so she can have them ready for the tournament anyways.
as she walks through the forest she hears a Pokémon cry, so she runs as fast as she ended up running in a blur not noticing she channel the power called aura in her legs unlocking her power she gets there in time seeing lots of Beedrill, so she said come on out Pikachu
Pikachu comes out seeing the Beedrill's and she gets into a battle stance and Ashley called out
thunderbolt now! soon
Pikachu charged her attack up and lets it loose
Pikachu pika Pikachu! soon the attack hits the Beedrill's and knocks them all out and Ashley went to see what Pokémon called for help as she heads the Pokémon voice.
she walks to the hurt Pokémon and takes out a potion and sprays some of it on the little Pokémon that looks green.
afterwards she pulls out the Pokémon Dex and it stated

she grins as she lifts up the Pokémon gently not to hurt the poor Pokémon more, so she rushed off to take the Pokémon to the Pokémon center. after a few minutes she makes it to the Pokémon center and enters it she runs up to nurse Joy and said I saved this poor Pokémon from the Beedrills that live in the forest I went in there in hopes of finding a grass type Pokémon abut I heard this Pokémon's cry and well I saved it from the Beedrills.
Joy scoffs and replies I know this Pokémon, the trainer of this Pokémon abandoned her I see let me heal her and she probably will be sent to the Professor because this Pokémon was abandoned.
Ashley frowns and said I can't believe they would do something like that to such a pretty little Pokémon my father will have to find this person and call officer Jenna to arrest the person for this stuff.
soon Ashley went to the phone while she waits for the Fungcub to get healed, and she is calling her father to tell him what she had found. she types her home number and the phone rings

Dad this is Ashley I had to save a new Pokémon from the Beedrill, and she was hurt very badly the Dex stated that she has a trainer, but it doesn't tell me who the trainer was, it looks like the trainer abandoned the poor Pokémon so I want to keep her so she can be happy father she stated with a smile
Professor Oak smiles at his daughter and replies very well my daughter take good care of the Pokémon. he said and they hung up and Ashley gets called by the nurse Joy
she went to pick up the new Pokémon and knees down to her level and spoke in a soft tone
do you wanna come with me Fungcub? she asked with a small smile

the ball just ding! she didn't put up a fight, so Ashley has six Pokémon now
Eevee, Magikarp, Pidgeotto, Pikachu, Kakuna, Fungcub, Krabby. however, Fungcub went to her home since the Oak ranch held all trainers Pokémon when they get six Pokémon unless they have their own ranch or home that has a huge space. Ashely decided to trade out Krabby for Fungcub as she will need a grass type against the water type gym.
Ashley decided to leave and waves to Nurse Joy and walks to route two while on the way Flint and a boy her age is standing at the entrance of route two. she walks up to them and said hello Mr. Flint how are you today? she asked with a smile
Mr. Flint smiles at the young girl and replied I am just dangly; I am just wanting my son to go on a journey so he can learn about another Pokémon.
She nobs and said Well that's great I am going through mt moon so I can get some training in for the gym badge also I probably catch some Pokémon she stated with a grin
the boy her age grins and said Dad, I be sure to become the master of breeding Pokémon you see. he exclaimed and Ashley smirks at him, but he walks off and she follows, and they both ended up battling a few trainers and also a few wild Pokémon.
all Ashley's Pokémon beside Fungcub is now over level 20 now, they also learned new moves and Ashley decided to catch a Zubat and afterwards she headed in the cave at the side of mt moon, she grins happily as she battles more trainers and wild Pokémon.
as she goes forward, she noticed there are lights up ahead and she frowns knowing the Pokémon that lives here doesn't like having all this light.
