Y/n wakes up the next day ready to go and join the Anbu
Y/n: I mean it's better then rotting in the academy for a hit and being in a squad
Y/n gets himself ready before making his way to the Hokage's office to go and talk to Hiruzen

Hiruzen: Sure, come in
Y/n opens the door and walks in causing Hiruzen to smile
Hiruzen: So you really do want to join the Anbu Y/n.
Y/n: This is not a bluff Hokage-sama. I would like to join the Anbu
Hiruzen: Fine then...
Hiruzen takes a puff of his pipe before looking at Y/n
Hiruzen: I'm going to pair you up with someone who is already in the Anbu
Y/n: Are they strong?
Hiruzen: Would you like to test the person to see how strong they are
Y/n smiles
Y/n: Of course
Hiruzen smiles
Hiruzen: It was expected. They wanted to test the power of you as well since I already told them in the morning that you would be paired up with him

Hiruzen: And they are standing near the window anyway so they can just come in

Hiruzen: You two can have a friendly battle to see/gauge the level of each other

Y/n and the Anbu member go towards a place where Anbu normally train and practice as Y/n gets ready.
??: Do you use a sword much?
Y/n: I can try.
Y/n grabs a katana and points it at the Anbu lady
Y/n: We can start now-
The Anbu lady rushes in at Y/n and goes in for a swing to which Y/n blocks but he is kind of struggling to block it
Y/n: She is quite strong..
Y/n hopes to get out of this interaction as he jumps back not before stumbling back
Y/n: Tch.
??: What's wrong? Can't handle kenjutsu?
Y/n: Nah. I'm more used to something else.
Y/n jumps into the air and weaves hand signs making another version of himself
