Our pace was a little quicker today. It aggravated my sore ankle.

I had to stop and sit.
I was completely out of breath.

"Stopping again?" Kakashi says concernedly.

I try to catch my breath but it doesn't seem to be working.

Soon I'm gasping for air.

Kakashi rushes to my side.
"What's wrong?"

Tears start rolling down my face. My chest burns and I start to see spots.

Kakashi is saying something but I can't hear. My ears are ringing.

He's grabbing me and shaking me. I can tell he's yelling but my ears have gone silent.

My body goes limp and he catches me before I can fall to the ground.

He presses on my chest and then I breathe in a huge gasp of air.

He holds onto me as I cough and regain my breath.

Tears still falling down my cheeks.

I can now hear him talking.

"What was that!" Pakkun asks.

"A curse." Kakashi says, "I managed to stop it. Powerful jutsu."

I touch my neck and let out a sob. I almost died.
Everything goes black.

I open my eyes to see I'm on Kakashi's back.
I circle my arms around his shoulders.

"You're awake. Good, we're almost there." He says.

I close my eyes again and rest my head on his shoulder.

"Pakkun! Kakashi! You're back." I hear a voice say.

"Yes." He replies.

"Lady tsunade wants to see you immediately." Another voice says.

"I'll head there right now." Kakashi says.

"Do you need help?"

"No I've got her." Kakashi says and bounces me, making my feet swing.

I open my eyes enough to see parts of the town. It's cute and full of people.

We then go up what feels like a million stairs and reach this office at the top.

"My lady." Kakashi says outside the door.

"Open!" A loud voice says inside.

Kakashi walks in and takes a big breath.

"Where have you been you didn't report back in. Don't tell me you went off on your own!" The woman says sternly.

"And look at you-who are you carrying?" She adds.

Kakashi lowers me to the ground. My right foot touches the ground and I suck in air sharply. The pain shooting up my leg.

Kakashi pulls my arm around his shoulder and then places his arm around my waist.

"This is Akari. She saved me." He says.

The woman sighs.

"There's something else my lady." He says.

"Yes?" She asks.

"On our journey here she was nearly killed by a curse. Could you take a look at it?" He asks.

"Why alright. Sit. You too Kakashi." She says harshly but not rudely.

She touches my ankle. I whimper and squeeze my eyes shut.
"That's gonna need rest. But I healed it."

"Now let's see that curse mark." She says.

Kakashi leans my head slightly to show her.

"Hmm not something I've seen. When did this happen?" She asks.

"When we crossed the boarder ma'am." Pakkun says.

"I will look into it. You are dismissed Akari." She says

I nod and limp out of the room. Two men are waiting outside the door.

"Hello ma'am we're here to assist you." One of them says.

"Yes we will take you to where you are staying." The other says.
