Freaky much?

 Grace.

I stood outside of the 'Tutors4U' building, deciding on whether I should go in or not. My parents had signed me up for this, thinking it would be a good idea. They wanted me to make friends other than the friends I already had. They liked Jada, but didn't really like my other friends, saying that they weren't the greatest of influences.

I gripped my coat tighter around me, as the cold weather attacked me. Due to me being cold, and receiving weird looks from people who were entering the building, I decided to enter the building. As I entered the main hall, the buzz of chatter hung in the air.

"Wow", I whispered, as I saw how many people were lining up to be tutors, and to get tutored.

I joined the line to apply to be a maths tutor. I was right at the back, and it seemed like no one else was joining the line, meaning I was the last tutor. I hope I get someone to tutor. It would look good on my college application..

I watched around the hall as people met their tutors. Some people looked like they didn't care, not bothering to introduce themselves. Others looked like they had instantly clicked, talking as if they had been friends for years.

I wondered what my tutor would look like. Hopefully she was a girl. Hopefully she was nice. I looked around the hall, looking to see whether my tutor would just reveal herself.

As the line moved forward, I looked down at my mint converses, sighing, adjusting my backpack on my back.

"This is gonna take a while Grace." I whispered to myself, shaking my head.

Chresanto.

"Mum, I really don't want to. Please just leave me be!" I said, getting annoyed.

I hadn't had a blunt all day, due to school, and I was beginning to feel the effects of not having my daily pull.

"Chresanto Romelo Lorenzo August, for once in your life, do what you are damn well asked to do. You are getting tutored, and that's final. Now get your black ass upstairs, grab your coat, and come downstairs. I'm taking you, to make sure you sign up for this." My mum said, pointing to the stairs.

I rolled my eyes, muttering as a walked up the stairs.

"Do you have something to say boy?" My mum yelled.

"No ma'am." I said bluntly, whilst walking into my room.

I walked to my wardrobe, and moved it out of place slightly, showing one of my many hidden stashes of Weed. I pulled out a ready blunt out of a small plastic bag, and shoved it deep into my pockets.

"Boy don't make me come up up to your room!" my mum said.

I rearranged my wardrobe, putting it back in it's original place.

I quickly grabbed my coat, and jogged down the stairs, mean mugging my mum, who was standing at the foot of the stairs.

The car journey was silent. The only thing heard, was the gospel radio that my mum was humming along to. I pulled out my headphones, and started listening to some Drake. I really didn't want to do this tutoring crap. I knew my strongest subject was English, so I was most likely gonna get tutored in Maths by some nerd.

"I should smack your ass boy. We are gonna be late cause of traffic, silly-ass boy. Finna call these people up now." My mum muttered underneath her breath, whilst dialling the tutoring place on her phone.

I shrugged, rolling my eyes, and staring out of the window beside me.

"You are gonna be tutored in Math, and you'll be a good-ass tutor to your tutor in English." She stated, putting her phone to her ear.
