My world has shrunk to the confines of this room in the safe house Heeseung arranged. It's supposed to be a refuge, a sanctuary from the chaos that has upended my life, but it feels more like a prison. Surrounded by guards and layers of security, I am still haunted by the threats I face. Every day feels like a battle, and I'm losing ground to a relentless enemy.

The pregnancy has ravaged me. I am no longer the vibrant omega I once was. Instead, I am a frail shadow, my strength drained by the weight of the baby and the constant fear. Heeseung and Jake have repeatedly suggested an abortion, their concern evident, but I've always refused. This baby is my last sliver of hope, and I can't give up on it, no matter the cost to myself.

Today started like any other. I lay in bed, staring out at the snow-covered trees, trying to find some solace in the stillness. The quiet was my brief escape from the relentless turmoil. But that peace was shattered by the sound of the door creaking open. I assumed it was Jake or Heeseung, but when I turned my head, my heart froze.

Jinyun stood in the doorway, his dark coat framing his menacing silhouette. The gun in his hand, twirling casually, was a cruel reminder of his power over me. My breath hitched as fear gripped me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, my voice barely more than a whisper, trembling with fear.

Jinyun's voice was laced with mockery as he stepped further into the room. "Oh, Sunoo. Did you really think you could hide from me? Did you really think you could escape your fate? You're mine, omega. You'll always be mine."

I wanted to retreat, but my body felt heavy, my movements sluggish. The fear was paralyzing. I tried to summon the strength to confront him, but my exhaustion made it almost impossible.

He raised the gun, aiming it directly at my swollen belly. The sight made my heart race with panic. I had to protect my baby. The thought of losing this last piece of hope was unbearable.

"I'm not yours," I managed to say, my voice shaking. "I'm not your possession."

Jinyun's anger was palpable as he moved closer, his gaze fixed on me. "And what about this little parasite you're carrying? Did you really think I wouldn't find out? You've made a mess of everything, Sunoo. But don't worry-I'm here to clean it up."

Despair overwhelmed me. I had to get away. I had to protect my child. Summoning every bit of strength I had left, I bolted from the bed, stumbling towards the door. My movements were labored, but adrenaline drove me forward. Jinyun's mocking laughter followed, increasing my desperation.

I ran down the hallway, my vision blurring and my breaths ragged. The weight of the baby made every step painful. I was almost free when my foot caught on the edge of a rug. I fell hard, pain radiating through my body. I cried out, the fall exacerbating my already fragile state. Blood began to pool around me, and the sight filled me with terror. I clutched my belly, the reality of what was happening hitting me like a freight train.

Jinyun's footsteps grew louder as he approached. He knelt beside me, his gaze fixed on the blood staining the carpet. His voice was cold, triumphant. "Looks like the end of the line, doesn't it? You should have known better than to defy me, Sunoo."

In that moment, something inside me snapped. The fear, the pain, and the helplessness transformed into a searing rage. This man had taken everything from me-my freedom, my happiness, and now, he was threatening my baby. I couldn't let him win.

I saw the gun, still in Jinyun's hand. Driven by a surge of adrenaline and a fierce need to protect my child, I reached out and grabbed the weapon. Jinyun's eyes widened in shock as I pointed the gun at him, my hands trembling with a mix of fear and fury.

"You won't touch my baby," I said, my voice trembling with anger.

"Sunoo, you don't know what you're doing," Jinyun's voice wavered, fear creeping in.

I didn't care. The baby inside me was my last source of hope. I wouldn't let Jinyun take that away. I tightened my grip on the gun, my finger resting on the trigger.

"I won't let you take anything else from me," I whispered fiercely.

In that moment, the rage and pain that had built up inside me exploded. I pulled the trigger, and the gunshot reverberated through the safe house. Jinyun's body jerked, his expression frozen in shock as the bullet hit him. He staggered backward, blood spreading across his chest, before he fell to the floor.

Everything went eerily silent. I stared at Jinyun's lifeless form, the reality of what I had done sinking in. The adrenaline that had fueled me dissipated, replaced by a crushing exhaustion and pain. The gun slipped from my fingers, clattering to the floor.

As darkness closed in, I felt my strength leaving me. My vision blurred, and the blood loss was overwhelming. My last thought was of the baby inside me-the one thing I fought so desperately to protect. The sound of hurried footsteps was the last thing I heard before everything faded to black.
