The Beginning of the End
July 3rd, 2024
The night sky was draped in a cloak of inky blackness, the stars barely piercing through the dense clouds that hovered over the sprawling city below. In the heart of this bustling metropolis stood a mansion, an imposing structure of stone and glass that exuded power and wealth. It was the home of the Lee family, a name whispered in reverence and fear across the underworld.
Inside, the air was thick with tension. The walls, adorned with priceless art and lavish decor, seemed to close in on Sunoo as he sat in his dimly lit room, staring blankly at the papers in front of him. His fingers traced the delicate curves of his name printed at the bottom of the divorce papers: Lee Sunoo,
The divorce had been finalized 3 years ago. Sunoo’s marriage to Kim Jinyun, a union that had once been touted as the perfect alliance between two powerful families, was never what it seemed to be. To the world, it was just another failed marriage, a casualty of the high-stakes world of power and influence. But to Sunoo, it was the end of a nightmare that had consumed him for years.
His thoughts drifted back to the day he had first met Jinyun, the charming alpha with a smile that could disarm anyone. Sunoo had been naive then, a young omega caught up in the whirlwind of societal expectations and familial pressure. The marriage had been arranged, a strategic move to solidify the bond between the Lee and Kim families. At first, it had seemed like a dream, a powerful alpha, a life of luxury, and the promise of security.
But the dream had quickly turned into a nightmare. Jinyun’s charm had been a facade, hiding a man who was cruel, possessive, and abusive. The beatings had started shortly after their wedding, each one more brutal than the last. Sunoo had learned quickly that the sweet words and gentle touches in public were nothing more than a mask for the monster that lurked beneath the surface.
The years that followed had been a blur of pain, fear, and hopelessness. Sunoo had tried to escape, tried to find a way out, but the ties that bound him to Jinyun and the Kim family were too strong. Every attempt to break free had been met with more violence, more control. The bruises and scars that littered his body were a testament to the torment he had endured.
Yet, through it all, Sunoo had never lost hope. He had clung to the belief that one day, he would be free. That one day, he would find a way to escape the hell that had become his life. And now, as he stared at the divorce papers, the weight of that hope finally lifted from his shoulders.
But freedom came at a cost. Sunoo was no longer the naive omega he had once been. The years of abuse had hardened him, transforming the once gentle and kind-hearted man into someone cold and unyielding. He had learned to survive in a world that sought to break him, and now, after three years, he was determined to reclaim the life that had been stolen from him.
He rose from his chair, the papers left behind on the desk as he crossed the room to the large window that overlooked the city. The lights of the city glittered below, a sea of possibilities stretching out before him. He was free now, strong, and he is back to teach every person that hurt him a lesson.
Sunoo was not afraid. He had faced the darkness and emerged on the other side, stronger and more determined than ever. He was ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead, ready to carve out a new life for himself.
As he stood there, a sense of resolve settled over him. He had spent too long being a pawn in the games of others. Now, it was time for him to take control, to forge his own path. He would take his revenge so that he would be able to live.
The world had not seen the last of Sunoo. He would rise from the ashes of his past, stronger and more powerful than before. And those who had sought to destroy him would soon learn that they had underestimated the fire that burned within him.
As Sunoo stood by the large window, his eyes tracing the glittering lights of the city below, his mind drifted back to the day everything changed.
