"Every time I look at you I get sick..."
"Why are you even here? No one wants you here."
"You haven't died yet?"
"I wish you would die."
The voices of Wooyoung's past had been growing stronger lately. They were his reminder of how cruel the world was. His reminder on why he turned his back on everyone and locked his heart away. He wished he could shut the voices out. If everything were to be silent, maybe he wouldn't feel so suffocated.
"Hey..." A voice called to him.
His ears focused on the sound. It didn't sound hostile like the ones from his past. It didn't sound like anyone he actually knew either.
"Wake up." The voice sounded closer to him.
Was it his self conscience trying to wake him up? Last thing he remembered was falling into the lake. The water painfully pierced his skin as he sunk deeper into the water. He knew how to swim, but his body and mind weren't connecting anymore. All he could do was wait for the water to finish replacing the air in his lungs and succumb to death. That wasn't the way he intended to die, but death was death.
"Hey!" A gentle slap to his face followed the urgency behind the voice.
Wooyoung opened his eyes and sat up immediately, coughing whatever water was left inside his body. He began to instantly shiver from the cold. There he was alive. Alive sitting down in the snow, away from the lake.
But how? I know I fell in.
Someone cleared their throat besides him causing him to jump. He turned towards the figure and felt even more perplexed.
"You! You're the one who was in the water!"
The man nodded his head. Wooyoung couldn't help but stare at him. He was definitely the same man he had seen in the water. He was different from what he seen earlier though. Different being his eyes were now jet black, not the amber color he had seen before.
Wooyoung tilted his head to the side. There was a grey, swirling aura coming from the mans bare shoulders. He couldn't understand how or why, but he knew that had to be steam coming from his shoulders.
It's so cold outside. I'm over here freezing and he has fucking steam coming from his body. OH-
Wooyoung's eyes quickly scanned the mans figure and he could feel the blood rushing to his cheeks from embarrassment. He turned his head away. "Why are you naked?"
The man chuckled softly. "So, you're just now realizing it? You were staring pretty hard at my body before so I thought you were just admiring it."
Wooyoung just knew he was beet red. The way the man was teasing him right off the bat. Why was he acting like they were well acquainted.
"You never answered my question. Why are you naked? And why were you in the frozen? How are you still alive?"
The man shifted his body towards Wooyoung. Wooyoung could feel the heat radiating off the man's body and as much as he wanted to move away, the heat felt way better than the cold. His legs were still not at the point to where he could stand up. He felt so weak from falling into the water.
"So many questions coming from someone who is about to freeze to death." He replied. "I'm not sure if your body can withstand the cold anymore."
So you were purposely moving closer to give me some warmth.
