Izuku was waiting patiently in line to find out what his job was for the day. They usually had a schedule, but their teacher, All Might, had to cut it off due to difficulties in specific people's shifts. When it was Izuku's turn, he felt his wings ruffle behind him, his shoulders perching up.

"Midoriya. I believe you are most trustworthy, you will be on lookout duty on the surface. Make sure no hellspawn linger on your designated location."

"Oh, All Might, I'm not trained in fight, I don't think I-"

"Midoriya." He put his hands on Izuku's shoulders. "If anything bad happens I will be alerted. I'll send somebody down immediately. Don't you worry, my boy." All Might gave a reassuring grin. "You should go, don't want to keep the line waiting!"

Izuku, being dismissed, hopped to the side and began walking to the departure to the surface when he laid his eyes upon a familiar face. "Ochaco?" The brown haired female perched her head up.

"Izuku!" She boosted towards him, scrunching herself against Izuku with a tight hug. "Long time no see! What are you doing here?" She let out a small giggle.

"I'm supposed to be going into lookout duty. What about you?" Izuku proceeded to walk to the edge, Ochaco miming his movements.

"That's crazy! So am I! I don't think we'll be close enough to eachother to chat though.." Her expression turned from excitement to a sulk.

Izuku smiled. "What a shame." He said sarcastically, Ochaco pouting. "Well, I have to go, are you on duty tomorrow?"

"Depends. If I'm not we should totally meet in front of the training area! Maybe you can show me some of your new moves I've heard about?"

"I'd love to! See you around!" Izuku let out one last grin before he spread his wings and took off. Ochaco waved goodbye.

On the surface

Being on the surface was nothing new to Izuku, he was down there quite often. He does love the scenery of the woodlands, but he can't help but get a chilly feeling everytime he's there. As if he's being watched by someone or something. He's never sure quite what, if it's just him overthinking as usual or he is really being stalked.

He had to get his mind off the situation, so he flew up to the top of a small church and looked through the glass roof. The windows at the very back were open and the priest had a microphone, plus there was a choir going on so he could hear everything quite clearly. He retracted his wings, placing them neatly on his back as he watched through the window at the prayers and bible verses being spoken. He always found it comforting in a way, hearing other people praising God or Jesus. But he did feel like sort of a creep, watching many human's through a window, listening in on their sacred conversations.

He got so caught up watching the scene happen he hadn't noticed how much time had passed by. He heard the doors fly open, banging loudly on the walls. Everybody spun their heads around, their eyes widening at the sight. Izuku wanted to see what or who had just entered, but he knew if he had leaned over even the slightest bit everyone would have seen his halo brightening the green in his curls.

Instead, he scuffled back slightly, crawling over to the back windows. He slowly flew down, getting a beautiful view of the whole church. It was quite colourful due to the stained glass windows with beautiful patterns reflecting onto the carpet floor. But something, specifically in the doorway, had made the atmosphere shiveringly dark.

A blonde haired man with menacingly red eyes, black sclera's, pointed sharp fangs protruding from his lips. He had black spiralled horns, the hair around his horns slightly darker than the rest. His hands were completely black, it bled up his arm, fading into his normal skin tone. Instead of regular fingers, he had long, black claws, seemingly sharp. Nothing else really stood out to Izuku.

What really startled him was when the demon began talking, his voice quite deep. "Jeez, you all look like you've seen hellspawn." The demon snorted. "Bet you'll be more surprised to know there's been an angel spying on you for about two hours." He gestured at the window, right where Izuku was floating.

Everyone spun their heads once again, Izuku's face burning up. He awkwardly smiled, waving his hand slowly, a small child smiling widely, waving fastly back.

"Why don't you come inside, angel?" He narrowed his eyes, a sickeningly smug smirk widening on his face. Everyone was speechless.

"Y-yes. I believe it would help appropriate from an angel sent from the gods to interact with our.. fellow believers.." The priest splurged out, straightening his posture.

"Right. Um." Izuku flew over the church, landing on the floor and slightly opening the doors wider to fit inside. "Uhm. Hello." Izuku bowed his head, the crowd putting their hands together and bowing in their seats. "You can carry on, please don't mind us." With the reassurance, the priest adjusting the microphone, carrying on his prayers. Everyone put their hands together, keeping their heads down.

He set his barrier up, grabbing the demon by the wrist and dragging him outside. "Ow!" He yelped. Snatching it back when they were outside. "The fuck was that for!?"

"Why on earth would you think it's appropriate to walk into the house of God?" He tensed his fingers, staring up at the specifically tall hellspawn upon him.

"Just wanted to tell 'em that there was a victim of God spyin' on 'em. And why 'on earth' do you think it's alright to spy onna buncha people prayin'?"

Izuku stayed quiet.

"See? You needa fuckin' grow up." He pushed Izuku slightly.

"Don't touch me." They stayed quiet, staring at each other. Katsuki flicked his tail, a large smirk spreading across his face.

"Think It's time for you to go back to the storm-terror clouds you came from, sweetie." He walked past him, his leather jacket brushing against Izuku's arm.

He scoffed, taking off up into the sky. Izuku wasn't one to get frustrated easily, but something about that demon rattled him. He returned up to his platform, exhausted from the slow flying he had done to gather his thoughts.

He sluggishly walked to his dorm, opening the door and locking it behind him. He slipped his clothes off, changing into a t-shirt and shorts, peeling his covers over himself and almost instantly dozing off.
