icarly: I'm getting adopted part II

CHAPTER ONE

Carly, and Millicent arrive at the Seattle courthouse. Waiting in the courtroom surrounded by other family members as well as the judge.

All rise the judge commands. Now we are here to celebrate the adoption of 15-year-old Millicent Mitchell and Fredward Benson.

Uhm, my husband isn't here so I'll be signing adoption papers Carly interjects.

Can I ask where we're abouts of your spouse is Mrs.Benson the judge asked?

Uh it's a long story sir Carly says as she twirls her hair nervously.

Then, Freddie comes stumbling in, and yelled I'm here, let's sign those papers Freddie said as he slurred his speech.

Oh no, Carly uttered under nervously her breath.

Mr. Benson you sound intoxicated the judge announced.

Yup, because she kicked me out Freddie said as he turns to point to Carly.

Only because you were making bad choices and your still continuing to make bad choices Freddie Carly yelled!

Why are you making a big deal out of the vape Freddie screamed!

Well, I don't know just like I used to say to Sam, maybe stop doing bad things Carly yelled as she puts her hands on her hips.

You aren't my mother Freddie retorts!

Fredward Marissa crossed her arms as she peered out behind Carly.

Freddie's eyes widened as he forgot his mother was attending Millicent's adoption ceremony. He gulps before he utters a sentence.

Mom, I completely spaced Freddie said as he's nervously twisting his wedding ring.

You didn't think I would miss my grand baby's adoption. Then again you haven't been thinking at all Marissa scolded.

Ladies would you like me too escort Mr. Benson out of the courtroom since he's causing a disturbance the judge asked?

I'll let my daughter in law make that choice Marissa said with pride.

Carly too nervous to speak turns to Marissa and smiles. She then takes a deep breath before speaking.

Yes, your honor it would be within the best interest of my daughter if her father was escorted out of the room Carly announced. Millicent stayed close with Carly as she didn't want to see her dad. Fair enough security the judge ordered.

Then two security guards came into the room and, escorted Freddie out of the room.

You can't do this to me Freddie yelled!

Carly couldn't look as she was embarrassed by Freddie's behavior.

Millicent also looked down at the table because she didn't want to cry. This is all my fault Millicent whispered. That got Carly's attention and, she looked up at Millicent It's not your fault you didn't do anything wrong Carly said as she felt bad and, angry for Millicent.

Your father made those bad choices not you Carly explained.

He wouldn't gone near weed if I wasn't the one that provided it Millicent replied.

Listen to me it's still not you're fault he would've found another way to be bad, even if you didn't bring the vape home Carly firmly explained to Millicent.

Millicent jumped into Carly's arms and, Carly wraps her arms around Millicent to hug her.

Ladie's are we ready to proceed the judge asked?

Carly and, Millicent pull away from their hug and, both nodded in agreement.

Yes, you're honor Carly replied.

The Judge read's off the adoption paper's and, after he read them off. He passes the paper's over to Carly. She walks up to the Judge and, grabs the papers then thanks the judge for his patients.

She walked back over to the table to grab a pen to sign the papers. Millicent stands near Carly and, smiles as she signs the papers.

After signing the paper's Carly and, Millicent hug once again but in a moment of joy not sorrow.

Congratulation's Mrs. Benson and, Millicent Benson the judge announced.

Everyone in the room clapped and, cheered for the special occasion.
