CHAPTER THREE

As she got off the couch she hears the doorbell ring.

Carly walks to the door and opens it.

Freddie why are you here Carly snapped.

I want to see my daughter Freddie said as he slurred his speech.

Freddie you're drunk I can't let Millicent see you like this Carly said.

Freddie throws up into the bushes outside as it's pouring rain. Freddie then stumbles over his own feet into the bush.

Awe man, now you're just embarrassing yourself Carly wines. As she walked out onto the front porch to grab Freddie.

Harper, I need your help Carly yelled! Harper walks outside to see Freddie soaked and passed out in a bush.

Damn this is just getting sad now Harper said.

Please just help me Carly begged.

Fine I will help you Harper replied as she rolled her eyes. The two girls ended up carrying Freddie to the bathroom. Once they reached the bathroom Freddie opened his eyes as he regained consciousness Then let go of Carly and, Harper then got down on his knees crawled to the toilet to throw up.

Girl this is just pathetic, any who I've done my job time for me to go party Harper said as she walked out of the room.

Carly rolled her eyes at Harper as she left after Harper left. Carly looks over at Freddie. Part of her felt bad for him but she still was angry at him for Sabotaging himself yet again.

After throwing up Freddie sat on the floor and, leaned up against the bathtub. Carly noticed their was a cut on Freddie's leg and, decided to help him clean it up.

She got down on the floor next to him with the proxied and, cleaned up his cut on his leg.

Ouch that hurts Freddie yelled!

Good I hope it dose burn, I'm still very disappointed in you Carly snapped.

Why did you sabotage yourself again Carly demanded to know.

Freddie was silent as he didn't want to tell Carly why.

You were doing really well, for a while Carly said as she got up to put the proxied back in the medicine cupboard. She also grabbed a wash cloth So she can wipe the dirt off. She walked back over to Freddie and, wiped the gently warm cloth over his cheek.

Freddie smirked as; Carly cleaned him up.

Don't be smiling I'm still angry with you Fredward Carly said as she wagged the cloth at his face.

Sometimes I wish Spencer was here, so he could knock some sense into you Carly snapped.

You're cute when your angry Freddie said as he could barely stay awake.

Freddie that's sweet but I'm very concerned about you Carly said as she crouched down next to him and, gently rubbed his ear.

Why won't you tell me what's bothering you. We're a couple we are supposed to be honest with each other Carly said.

I'm tired, Freddie said.

Of what Carly asked?

Feeling like a failure Freddie replied.

You are not a failure Freddie, well not to me anyway you're perfect just the way you are Carly tells him.

I have 3 failed business adventures, 2 about to be 3 failed marriages and my daughter hates me Freddie said.

First of all, were not getting a divorce, not sure where you got that idea. Secondly, your daughter doesn't hate you just like me she's also very worried about you Carly replied as she rubbed his cheek.

She doesn't want to hang out with me anymore it's always either a club or sport, if it's not that she's hanging out with her friends Freddie trailed off.

Freddie she's fifteen, you remember what we were like at fifteen Carly said.

That was different Freddie said as he began to lean.

Carly quickly caught him as he was tipping over.

Stay right here I'm going to get you a pillow Carly walks out of the bathroom. Exuse me Carly announced as Harper was chatting with a guest. She grabs a pillow and, blanket off the couch.

What are you doing Carly Harper asked?

I'm going to let Freddie sleep on the floor in the bathroom Carly said.

What if people need to use it Harper asked?

We got a second one upstairs Carly replied.
