CHAPTER TWELVE —
family reunion

MIGUEL GOT PULLED OUT, ADELINE AND JOHNNY WERE THE ONLY ONES WHO FOLLOWED.

charlotte watches her brothers match against demetri, he was caught off balance so robby took this chance to strike him, punching his stomach. "point keene!"

miyagi-do called a time out and demetri goes to daniel larusso. charlotte makes eye contact with her brother and she gave him a proud smile which he returned.

demetri went back on the mat, both of then getting into their fighting stance. robby won the fight by tripping him and kicking him while he was on the mat. "winner, keene!"

charlotte grinned ear to ear as she clapped for her older brother. johnny came walking over with adeline by his side, she looked over to cobra kai's group. "who won?"

"robby did!" charlotte exclaims but adeline scowled and stood near johnny. the younger lawrence kind of forgot they had some beef going on so she kept quiet.

few minutes later, she felt the need to go to the washroom. "i'm gonna go to the bathroom, i'll be right back."

she hummed while walking past the boys change room but something made her stop. "yeah, you wouldn't know because nobody has ever been a piece of shit to you!"

she stood by the door, listening in on the conversation. "well maybe it's time you found out." she heard his sinister voice along with a loud bang against the lockers. charlotte furrowed her eyebrows. "how does that feel, lapusso? not great? man, get up!"

there were numerous sounds of punching and anthony's whimpers. charlotte didn't care that this was the boys changeroom, she had to do something or else anthony could get really hurt.

"you stole the only friend i had!" kenny yelled at him. "charlotte was my friend. mine!"

"charlotte is her own person and she could be friends with anybody she wants!" anthony yelled back at him but grunted when kenny punched him again.

charlotte groaned when she got mentioned, opening the door and walking inside to stop the fight. she grabbed kenny's gi and pushed him back.

his face was full of anger and frustration, all the feelings that he built up since he arrived into this new town. charlotte stared at him. "kenny what the hell!"

she stood in front of anthony protectively while he clutched his stomach in pain. "came to save your boyfriend?"

"are you ever going to grow up?" she yelled at him. kenny rolled his eyes, sending a sudden punch her way and she didn't have time to react so she puts her arms up.

but charlotte felt nothing. "what are you doing?" a familiar voice scolded kenny. charlotte puts her arms down to see robby, glancing back at his sister with concern. "were you really going to hit my sister?"

"i was just getting payback on the kid who thought he could bully me and get away with it. charlotte here just managed to get in the middle of it."

"anthony larusso was your bully?" robby asked, looking down at him.

kenny smirked. "not anymore." he shook his head and leaned down to grab him by the face. "do you hear that? get ready for high school next year because you're gonna be in a world of pain."

he pushed anthony's head back, making him hit the lockers. "kenny that's enough!" charlotte yelled desperately.

"this is not how i trained you." robby shook his head disapprovingly at kenny's actions. the younger boy just furrowed his eyebrows.
