Monet rushes to the nightclub, her concern overriding any emotions she is feeling right now about Zoya. Pushing through the crowded dance floor, she finally spots Zoya, stumbling and laughing with a group of models in the VIP Section. With determination, Monet navigates her way through the crowd and reaches Zoya, who greets her with a drunken smile.
"Hey there, gorgeous!" Zoya slurs, wrapping her arms around Monet in a wobbly embrace.
Monet steadied her, gently guiding her to stand upright. "Come on, let's get you out of here," she urged.
But Zoya persisted, singing out, "Nooo, let's dance! Come on! Bend that ass over, shake that ass for me!" as she attempted to sway with Monet.
"Zoya, let's go," Monet demanded, trying to keep her steady to prevent her from falling.
Zoya pouted, finally relenting. "You're no fun."
After a bit of struggle, Monet manages to guide Zoya out of the club and into her car. During the ride to Monet's apartment, Zoya's demeanor shifts unpredictably between bouts of laughter and drunken attempts at reciting Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman" to strangers through the car window, much to Monet's amusement and embarrassment.
Upon reaching Monet's apartment, Zoya persists in her drunken ramblings. "Monet, you're like my guardian angel, you know? But, like, a fucking hot one!" Zoya mumbles as they stumble through the apartment building.
"Just trying to make sure you don't end up in a ditch somewhere," Monet responds, focusing on ensuring Zoya's stability as she leads her into her apartment.
Zoya nods earnestly, her gaze unfocused. "You're always looking out for me," she admits, a note of gratitude in her slurred words.
As Monet tends to Zoya, a wave of nostalgia washes over her, reminding her of the familiarity of their past interactions. "Let's get you to bed," she gently suggests. Once inside the apartment, Monet settles Zoya into her old bedroom, fetching a glass of water, a trashcan, and some aspirin to ease her impending hangover. "You can sleep it off, and we'll talk in the morning, okay?" she reassures Zoya with a caring tone.
As Zoya starts to drift off to sleep, Monet smiles softly, gently brushing a strand of hair away from Zoya's face before tucking her in with a blanket. Just as she's about to leave, Monet hears Zoya whisper, "I love you, Monet," her words barely audible in the quiet of the room.
Monet pauses, her heart heavy with conflicting emotions at Zoya's confession, but she musters a soft smile in response. "I Love you too," she whispers tenderly. Monet sits beside Zoya, watching over her until she falls into a deep slumber. Monet hears Quincy making noises under Zoya's bed as if chewing on something. Curious, she leaned down and peered under the bed, discovering Quincy trying to gnaw on what appeared to be a notebook. Monet retrieves the notebook, realizing it must have been one of Zoya's belongings left behind unintentionally when she moved out.
