"We can find another solution! I don't want to give him up! We're his family now and that means we can't just leave him or give him back like a toy!" Jimin realizes he began to raise his voice.
"I get that but–"
"No you don't! If you did, you wouldn't even have said that in the first place!"
At this, Yoongi frowns, "What? So I'm not supposed to express how I feel? I'm just being honest with you, Jimin!"
"I didn't say that! Because of what you said, it just seems to me that you don't care enough about Jingle! You want to give him back or something, but did you think about how he would feel?"
"You make it sound like I'm saying to abandon him. I'm not, Jimin! I just think that maybe, he's not for us. He could find a better family. And maybe he won't be like this," Yoongi holds his bandaged hand up, "to them."
"It's not that easy, Yoongi! Do you think people would still want him when they find out why his previous owners couldn't deal with him? He's our responsibility! God, pets aren't just christmas presents you give to people and return with a gift receipt when you change your mind!
"Really? You think I'm like that? You think I'm one of those people? I just want the best for all of us, Jimin."
Jimin blinks. Oh no.
"Wait, Yoongi—"
"Good to know," Yoongi nods, "I'll be in the room packing my stuff. You should pack too, our flight home is in a few hours." Before Jimin could even say anything else, Yoongi turns away and disappears in the bedroom, leaving Jimin sitting there with a heavy heart. Even if Yoongi is out of sight now, Jimin knew Yoongi's heart was heavy too. They've never fought before, and now they've hurt each other unintentionally. They both fucked up bad.
