Tears - Part 1

This AU centers around the Links while Wild away and the Hero of the Wild himself going back to his own Hyrule to get his arm amputated. (No, I haven't written the whole plot of TotK)

----------- 3d person Wild POV -------------

Wild sighed as he looked at Hyrule.

The Links were in his Hyrule and were about to leave.

Leaving didn't feel good. It felt like the kingdom was gonna need him. And only him. Just the Link, hero of Hyrule, they knew.

He made his decision. He turned to Twilight and Time. 'I'm not going.' he said.

'I understand you don't want to, but-' Twilight started, but Wild cut him off.

'Its not that I don't want to come with you, I just have a feeling that Hyrule is going to need me.'

Time spoke: 'Okay. If you really need to stay, I think its fine if you stay here. If you need us, just sent a letter. Knowing the postman, it'll arrive.'

'Did I hear my name?' Hyrule said, grinning.

'No.' Wild chuckled. Then his face turned serious again. 'I'm staying.' he said.

'Oh.'

'I already agreed on this, and I don't think we'd be able to stop him anyway.' Time said.

And so it came that Wild stayed in his Hyrule while the other Links, Time, Twilight, Warrior, Wind, Four, Legend and Hyrule left for another one of the kingdoms. 

Wild sighed. He did not have a very good feeling about this. Something terrible was going to happen, he was sure of it.

He walked to Hyrule castle, where he was greeted by Zelda, who had short hair now. 'Link!' You're back! Good thing, because I was going to explore the weird holes in the ground which leads to the depths. But maybe you could come with me and we'd explore it later.'

Wild, or no, now he could tell himself Link again, nodded. He somehow knew that the depths had something to do with what he had to do.

About a week later, Wild- ehm, Link and Zelda ascended into the tunnels leading to under Hyrule castle...

The 9 Links sat around a campfire. Hyrule gave each of them a bowl soup.

Because Wild wasn't there, the Links took turns cooking.

Even though it wasn't as good as Wilds food, Twilight could cook an edible meal. Wind, Four and Sky could make something edible too, and each time when Time tried to cook something went wrong for some reason, and Warrior and Legend weren't a fan of cooking either. Hyrlue was the only one who actually wanted to cook. But he really was on another level of cooking. It was, as the others described it, "really something different".

Legend looked at his food. 'Why is it red?' he asked.

'It's the spice.' Hyrlue said.

'Okay.' Legend said, and took a sip of his soup. He immediately choked.

'Its so spicy-' he managed to say.

'Yes,' Hyrule said with a grin on his face. 'that was intended!'

'How- spicy- did- you- intend- it?'

'I added a lot of Goron spice, so I'm gonna call it... SPICY GORON SPICE SOUP!' Hyrule was still grinning.

Warrior rolled his eyes, and Four did the same.

'This is gonna be a long time, without a cook who can make edible food.' Legend muttered under his breath.

'I feel offended.' Warrior joked.
