Let us just imagine Rahul and hardik shared the same dorm..

-----

It was the first morning after Hardik had decided to impress Rahul. He figured the way to a man's heart was through his stomach, so he took it upon himself to make breakfast, a special plate for Rahul.

Hardik was bustling around the kitchen, determined to create the perfect omelet. He wasn’t exactly the best cook, but how hard could it be? He chopped up vegetables with the focus of a five-star chef, but the eggs were another story. Half of them ended up on the floor, and by the time Hardik managed to get a few intact into the pan, he was sweating from the effort.

Finally, after a few stressful minutes, he managed to plate the slightly burnt, but passable, omelet and brought it out to the dining room where Rahul sat, reading something on his phone.

"Morning!" Hardik said, trying to sound casual, but his heart was pounding. "I made breakfast. Especially for you."

Rahul looked up, a smirk already on his face. "Really? You cooked? That's... surprising."

Hardik’s smile faltered for a second, but he pushed through, setting the plate down in front of Rahul with a flourish. "Yup! Enjoy."

Rahul raised an eyebrow, clearly amused, and took a bite. Hardik watched him with bated breath, waiting for the compliment he was sure was coming.

But Rahul made a face and coughed lightly. "It’s... interesting."

Hardik’s shoulders slumped. "Interesting?"

Rahul looked at him with a mischievous grin. "Yeah, interesting, like... how did you manage to burn an omelet and keep it raw at the same time?"

Hardik groaned, his face flushing. "I was trying to impress you!"

Rahul chuckled, pushing the plate aside. "Well, you did impress me... just not in the way you planned."

Hardik huffed, crossing his arms. "I’ll get it right next time."

"Sure you will," Rahul said with a wink, making Hardik blush even harder.

A few days later, Hardik tried again. This time, he decided to go for a compliment—everyone loved a good compliment, right?

They were sitting outside on the patio in the evening, the group relaxing after a long day. Hardik casually leaned closer to Rahul, who was lounging in a chair, looking particularly handsome with the sunset casting a glow over him.

"Hey, Rahul," Hardik started, his voice softer than usual. "I just wanted to say... you look really good today."

Rahul glanced at him, one eyebrow raised. "Really?" he asked, his tone teasing. "Is that your best attempt at flirting?"

Hardik, caught off guard, stammered. "N-No! I mean, yes! I mean... I'm just being honest!"

Rahul smirked, clearly enjoying how flustered Hardik had become. "Well, thanks, I guess. But you should know, I'm always looking good."

Hardik blinked, his confidence slipping away again. "I know that," he mumbled. "I just thought maybe you'd like to hear it."

Rahul grinned, leaning closer. "I do like hearing it. But next time, you might want to add a little more... flair. You know, maybe don't sound like you're reading from a script."

Hardik let out an exasperated sigh. "I wasn't reading from a script!"

Rahul chuckled, shaking his head. "Sure, whatever you say. But hey, at least you're trying."
