" Mommy..." A baby girl came running to her mother cooking in kitchen.

" Oh my baby. How was your day? Did you missed mumma..." A beautiful women picked up the girl in her arms placing a soft kiss on her cheeks.

" See, what daddy bought for me?" The girl showed her locket which had her mother and father's photo in it.

" Christian this..." The women was overwhelmed and the man took the girl in his arms.

" Baby go change your dress and wash your feet and hands." Christian directed his little daughter.

Once the little girl went away he hugged the woman.

" I know honey we won't be able to live happily like humans but our daughter can remember us this way. I am glad at least we had a child before we die. Don't worry I told my sister to evacuate with Natalia if we ever die. She will take good care of her." Christian said weaving his hand in her hair.

" Why is our love forbidden, Christian? Why so many restrictions? Our species have been enemies for years. Why can't they live without bothering each other? I am so worried about the prophecy of Natalia." The woman said worried.

" Our daughter is safe, Marilyn. You are a devotee of god, right? Your god will never let the prophecy affect our baby. He must have find a solution for the prophecy too." Christian consoled his wife.

" I am so stupid. You just came and I worried you. How was your day?" Marilyn said smiling widely.

" I saw your smile and it became the most serene day for me, honey." Christian kissed her forehead.

His expression changed suddenly and Marilyn knew something is wrong.

" What happened, Christian?" She asked.

" They are here. It's the end now." He said and a tear drop escaped his eyes.

" No. Not so soon, please Christian. Our baby is just 3 years old. She will be alone. Without parents." Marilyn cried and Natalia came running to her and hugged her leg.

" Who is harassing you, mommy?" Natalia asked.

Marilyn and Christian hugged her planting kisses all over her face. Natalia giggled.

" It tickles." She smiled and they hugged her.

" Baby let's play a game." Christian said and saw his sister near window.

" You go with Aunt Isabella and hide. We will come find you." Christian said and Isabella came in.

" You will come back, right?" Natalia asked innocently and he felt his heart being stabbed but he nodded.

Isabella carried her and ran away. Natalia saw Christian and Marilyn fighting for life. She internally sighed knowing it was bound to happen. Isabella was being chased. She saw an orphanage and placed her inside sneakily in the lord's cabin. She made a run with an illusionary baby.

" I am sorry, Natalia baby. Aunt can't save you. But I know you will live. You have to." Isabella muttered under her breath before the shadows circled her.

They killed her too. Natalia was in lord's cabin unconscious due to the spell Isabella casted on her. She woke up in a bed and a nun surrounding her. She sat up and held her locket looking around.

" How are you little baby?" The nun smiled at her.

" Where am I?" Natalia asked calmly making the nun taken aback as a 3 year old had a straight blank face.

The bubbly Natalia was nowhere seen. The lord entered and smiled at her.

" This is your home now, baby. What is your name?" The lord asked patting her head.
