Rina's Pov~

He left. I know blood must be making him reveal his true form. His hair's red highlight was sparkling. It was beautiful. I sighed trying to eat a bit but I didn't felt like. I just left the food untouched. There was a knock on my door and allowed the person in. It was Damien. I wonder what made Demon King come to me. Is he here to kill me too? Whatever. I will enjoy until he doesn't makes a move. I just hope he doesn't kills me before I take my revenge.

He came in with a hot water bag. I frowned. He touched the water bag on my stomach and pressed. It was painful. Is this a new way to kill? I punched him and he looked at me stunned.

" Is this a new way to kill?" I snapped at him.

" I am helping. Why would I kill?" He looked at me accused.

" What help?" I asked.

" It's your menstruation, right?" He asked.

" Who told you?" I asked.

" The maid. I told her you are bleeding. She told me about it. I don't know what made her embarrassed when she herself called it normal." He frowned and I chuckled.

I didn't knew the Demon King actually was a pookie? Isn't he cute?

" Your true form is unleashing, isn't it?" I asked.

" I am here as your bodyguard though." He again pressed the bag on my stomach and I pinched him.

" That's not how you do it and It's not my menstruation." I exclaimed and he frowned.

" You don't need to be shy." He waved brushing it off.

" Shy, my foot." I said stern.

" But you are bleeding." He said and I rolled my pants up.

He saw the scratch on my knees which I got while training with my shadow today. He frowned.

" I didn't saw you falling though." He raised his brow.

" Because I fell in my room. I slipped." I exclaimed.

" But you also told to cut today's classes." He asked.

" Because I don't want to study today." I said and he snorts.

" Brat." He exclaimed and I threw pillow on him.

" You might be king in your realm but I am a princess here." I said stern and he rolled his eyes going out.

Days passed and me and Damien bickered a lot. I spent my time with Altair too making him think I don't view him as a bad person now. Only if he knew, what I have planned out for him. I was watering plants when he came to me being all shy and I smiled at him.

" They have bloomed so pretty." He comments.

" Just how your smile blooms my heart." I said and he giggled.

" You haven't replied yet to my confession." He reminds me.

" Oh yes. I like you too." I held back my scoff.

" Really?" He asked and I nodded.

" I am so happy." He picked me up and twirled happily.

He put me down and cupped my face.

" Is this not a dream." He says and I patted his hand on my cheek.

" I love you, Rina." He said and I wanted to puke but I nodded.

" I do, too." I said.

" Why don't you say it back?" He asks.

" It feels quite ordinary and cringe. I will rather show it in actions." I said and he nodded.
