The air in Han's apartment was thick with tension, a palpable unease settling over the group as they sat in a tight circle, the weight of their recent discoveries hanging heavily between them. Han's breath was still shaky, his mind reeling from the flood of memories that had crashed into him with the force of a tidal wave. His friends' faces, illuminated by the dim light of the room, were a mix of worry, fear, and confusion. They all knew something was coming, something they couldn't avoid any longer.

Han took a deep breath, his eyes darting around the room, finally settling on Chan, who sat across from him, his expression unreadable. The room was quiet, save for the occasional creak of the apartment settling, the silence pressing in on them as they waited for Han to speak. His heart pounded in his chest, his pulse thrumming in his ears as he tried to find the right words, but the truth felt too heavy to voice.

"Chan..." Han began, his voice barely above a whisper. He hesitated, the weight of what he was about to say pressing down on him. "I remembered something... something important."

Chan's eyes flickered with a mix of hope and fear, his posture tense as he leaned forward slightly. "What is it, Han?" His voice was steady, but Han could hear the tremor beneath it, the underlying current of dread that matched his own.

Han swallowed hard, forcing himself to continue. "When... when I was taken, I saw their faces. I remember them now, and I recognize them. They're not just random people—they're powerful. Influential. And one of them..." His voice faltered, but he pushed on, the words tumbling out in a rush. "One of them is a friend of your father's."

The room seemed to freeze in that moment, the silence deafening. Chan stared at Han, his face paling as the meaning of Han's words sank in. "What... what are you saying?" Chan's voice was tight, controlled, as if he were trying to keep the fear and disbelief at bay.

Han's heart ached as he watched the shock and confusion wash over Chan's face. "I saw him, Chan. He was there, in that place. He... he knew what was happening, and he did nothing to stop it."

"No." Chan's voice was a whisper, a desperate denial that sounded almost like a plea. "No, that can't be right. My dad... he wouldn't..."

"Chan, I know it's hard to believe," Han said, his voice shaking. "But I'm not making this up. Your dad knows these people. He's connected to them, and he's been keeping it from you."

"Bullshit!" Chan's outburst was sudden, his voice sharp with anger and hurt. He shot to his feet, glaring at Han with a mixture of disbelief and betrayal. "My dad isn't like that! He's not... he's not involved in whatever sick thing you're talking about!"

Seungmin, who had been sitting quietly, stood up as well, his expression stern. "Chan, you need to calm down. Han isn't lying to you. We've all seen the way your dad has been acting—he knows more than he's letting on."

"Shut up, Seungmin!" Chan snapped, his eyes flashing with anger. "You don't know my dad. You don't know what you're talking about!"

"Chan, listen to yourself!" Seungmin shot back, his voice rising in frustration. "You're in denial! If we're going to figure this out, we need to be honest with each other, even if the truth hurts!"

"I am being honest!" Chan's voice cracked with emotion, his fists clenched at his sides. "My dad isn't involved in this. He can't be. He's always been... he's always protected us."

The room was charged with tension, the two friends standing toe-to-toe, their emotions running high. Han watched them, his heart aching for Chan, knowing how hard this was for him to hear. But the truth was out now, and there was no taking it back.
