Before we begin on this book, I would just like to give you all a huge thank you for reading. Much like making art, writing is also one of my grand passions, one I will never even seem to let go of. There's just so much to write about, and yet, even with that in mind, not many words to completely convey how to make this an ethereal experience the way I want to imagine it to be. But nonetheless, I am grateful for writing platforms such as these. Without them, I'm not sure if I'd be able to express myself to the fullest extent the way I want to. And without you lovely readers, I'm not sure if this book will ever make it to the big shelves at Bertrand, or Barnes and Noble, for example. But that's just me thinking ahead.
I'm a big dreamer. And while it's okay to dream, sometimes maybe it's better to ground yourself into reality. However I do get lost in my own imagination a lot, often leaving me distracted, aloof, and sometimes dissasociated from the world I live in. Sometimes my dreams never become a reality, and that's alright. Not everyone's does overnight, either. There needs to be work made in order to make your fantasies a reality. Sometimes those fantasies may not be the life you were destined to have.
It's good to keep an open mind, but it's also good to just lay low and enjoy the world as it is right now. And I'm talking about the small things. The little walks on the beach. Your hands running through the grass. The stars in the sky when you gaze upon them. The sounds of people in the background, drinking and having fun. Children running around, playing in the park. Dogs catching a frisbee and returning it back to their owners. The sweet scent of whatever tasty treat you crave.
These small things are what make life truly worth living.
In the end, this is what this book is truly about. To find joy and pleasure in the small things, and to try not to worry about whatever may tackle you down.
We will cross that bridge when we get there, though. But without further ado, happy reading.
