The archer and the wheelchair warrior: love at first sight

Chapter 54-3/8/2035

The girls and I are going home. I'm so happy. Damian leaves early in the morning to get some car seats for the girls. The doctor goes over the discharge paperwork with me, and then I'm ready to go home. I text Zelina, Rhea and Bianca:"I'm headed home with the girls. Love you ladies 😘." I also text my parents. Before we go home, I tell Damian to stop at the store. I go in and grab some microwave meals, because I don't want to even think about cooking. When I get back into the car, I ask Damian, "What're we going to do about the girls room?" He replies:"Don't worry, I got it covered." When we get home, I immediately see Rhea, Zelina and Bianca. "What are you ladies doing here?" I ask. "Damian gave us a spare key to the house so we could help with the girls nursery.  We're almost done. We also put some food in the fridge because we know you aren't going to wanna cook." Bianca said. I give them a hug. I have the most amazing best friends. I go inside and check our fridge. As Bianca had said, there were pans of food in it. There were some empanadas, some lasagna and some meatloaf. I heat up some meatloaf and settle down on the couch to watch TV while I wait for Bianca, Damian, Zelina and Rhea to finish the  nursery. About an hour later, Damian comes into the living room. "The nursery is done. Are you ready to see it?" "Of course I am!!! I'm so excited!!!" I turn the TV off and get up off of the couch. Damian puts his arms around me and says, "Close your eyes." I close my eyes and  leads me to the nursery. After a few minutes, Damian says, " Ok, you can open your eyes now babe." I open my eyes. I immediately start crying. "Guys, this is perfect!" The walls are painted in a lavender hue, the room is butterfly themed and there are pictures of Damian and I everywhere. The girls names are above their cribs. "How did you guys manage to get this done in one and a half days?" I ask. "Part of it is expedited shipping. The cribs and changing tables were ordered together. Cost me 900 bucks for all three. Zelina ordered the dressers and stroller. I painted the wall and put up the girls'names. The ladies helped assemble everything." Damian says. There's even a rocking chair in the corner. After I look at the nursery, Rhea asks, "Can we meet the girls now?" "Of course." I get the girls out of their car seats and hand Natalie off to Zelina, Selena to Bianca and Makenzie to Rhea. After a few minutes, the triplets fall asleep. I take them from Zelina, Bianca and Rhea and put them in their cribs. Then I also go to bed.
