The battle between the Sakura Empire and Azur Lane has commence while Tempest observe the situation and things aren't looking good for the girls at Azur Lane without a commanding officer which Tempest start to learn from his past life of how his captain is able to command his forces excellent. Kaga summon her giant fox which shock the girls except for Tempest because he fought against a huge creature before at the Grand Line while a girl riding on a flying unicorn is helping her friends, but now become target of the giant fox.

Kaga: "A small creature, but prey is still a prey."
Kaga order her fox spirit to attack Unicorn with multiple attacks which cause Unicorn the little girl and sister of Illustrious got hit which cause her to go down. Unicorn went down to the water, but the girls are too busy to help her and the fox is about to attack Unicorn which cause Tempest to move in with his instinct and protect Unicorn. Cleveland and the girls are having a hard time, but help have arrive which is Enterprise who appear behind the enemy fleet; however she won't make it in time to save Unicorn, but someone has stop the fox with his bare hand which shock the girls including Kaga.
Kaga(shock): "What? Who is stopping my fox?"
It was Tempest who using one hand to stop the fox.
Tempest: "Sorry, but she won't be your meal."
Cleveland(shock): "It's that visitor we bump into, but he is similar to us and he stop that fox with just one hand."
Kaga(angry): "WHO ARE YOU?"
Tempest: "Tempest a battleship kansen and if you want something to eat.... THAN EAT MY FIST! DRAGON PISTOL!"
Tempest punch the fox in the face which send the giant creature back and cause Kaga to dismount the fox which the creature went topple over which shock the girls while at the same time Tempest hold Unicorn on his arm which she open her eyes to see Tempest.

Tempest: "Are you alright?"
Unicorn: "Thank you..."
Cleveland arrive to check on Unicorn which Tempest give her to Cleveland.
Tempest: "Watch over her please."
Cleveland(confuse): "Sure, but who are you? You're not a tourist."
Tempest: "I was until someone have to ruin it. Time to teach them a lesson."
Kaga(angry): "I don't know who you are, but I won't go down easily."
Kaga summon her planes and attack him, but it left no damage to him which shocks Kaga and the girls because he took it like a champ so the Siren warships open fire at him; however he manage to dodge the lasers and coated his arm with Armament Haki which he struck the warship with his fist which destroy a part of the ship and it start to sink.
Cleveland(shock): "This guy isn't normal at all. He struck the ship with his bare hands as if it was nothing."
The fight continue onward and Enterprise arrive to support them, but Akagi order a retreat due to the fact that a unwelcome guest have arrive and causing problems.
Akagi: "We retreat for now, but we remember this."
The Crimson Axis left while Illustrious thank Tempest for saving Unicorn's life.

Illustrious: "Thank you for saving Unicorn's life."
Tempest: "It was nothing, but you're welcome."
Wales: "I didn't know that your a kansen."
Tempest: "Sorry for troubling you. I just want to have something to eat and those ships have to ruin it."
Wales: "Tell me; you able to defeat them with just your bare hands and not your rigs. How is it possible?"
Tempest: "Just through training. I used to be a flagship long time ago, but now. I want a change of pace."
The girls question about his word of flagship, but after seeing how he handle Kaga with just his bare hands than they think it's possible while Wales whisper to Illustrious about something.
Wales(whisper): "I think he would be a good candidate for that."
Illustrious(whisper): "Indeed. I can sense some leadership from him. This must be the blessing from the lights."
The two whisper while Tempest is confuse about what's going on with them until Enterprise arrive and notice Tempest try to figure out what they're talking about. Enterprise approach Tempest and want to thank him for saving Unicorn, but demand to know about him.

Enterprise: "I want to thank you for saving Unicorn, but who are you and what are you doing at the base?"
Tempest: "You're welcome and my name is Tempest. I was enjoying the food here until those kitsune girls have to ruin it and this little girl was about to become a snack for the giant fox so I decide to jump in. Now; let me enjoy some food."
Tempest left so he can enjoy the food while the girls are fixing things up with their ships including the port while at the same time Wales and Illustrious decide to hire him as a Commander, but Enterprise protest against this because they don't a thing about him.
Enterprise: "We don't know who he is or what faction he belongs to. Can we trust him since he's a male."
Illustrious: "He saved Unicorn. No male Commanders would do that and I think he's benefit to Azur Lane."
Wales: "I agree with Illustrious and he did say that he was a flagship so that means he have experience so let's say we invite him over and see what he can do."
