“What the hell, Archen Ayden! You’re telling me that I will have to fly halfway across the globe from Washington D.C. to babysit your client in Thailand?” The tall, muscular figure shot up from his seat, his voice reverberating through the sleek, black-and-brown themed office. His eyes blazed with frustration as they locked onto the man lounging on the plush sofa across from him.

Archen, his smirk devilish, leaned back against the soft leather, crossing one leg over the other. “Naravit Lertratkosum, curse me all you want, but the terms aren’t going to change. You know that as well as I do.”

Naravit clenched his fists, muscles taut as he fought to rein in his simmering anger. He sat down heavily, his jaw ticking as he glared at Archen. “Eight months of my life for guarding some Thai celebrities. You’re throwing me into a damn PR circus, Ayden. I’ve been in combat zones, protected diplomats, heiresses, and biloinares, Ministers and now you’re asking me to play bodyguard to someone who probably thinks a crisis is a bad hair day.I’ve earned a break. But no—you’re telling me I can’t take a damn breath without grinding for eight straight months?"

Archen’s grin only widened as he watched Naravit seethe. “Relax, Naravit. This is practically a vacation for someone like you. And remember, your contract states you can’t take any time off until you’ve clocked in eight straight months. Finish this, and you can hibernate as long as you want.”

Naravit’s eyes narrowed, his voice dropping to a deadly whisper. “If you weren’t my best friend’s husband, you’d already be six feet under.”

Archen let out a low, sarcastic laugh, clearly unfazed by the threat. “That’s why I respect you, man. You’ve got a foul mouth, but you’re the most reliable bastard I know.” He tossed a tablet onto Naravit’s lap. “Here. Everything you need to know about your new assignment.”

Naravit shot him a glare that could kill, snatching up the tablet before storming out of the office, leaving Archen chuckling to himself.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, within the towering walls of a glamorous entertainment agency skyscraper in Bangkok...

“P' Tay is really stepping down as my bodyguard?” The gorgeous young man’s voice trembled with disappointment, his usually bright eyes shimmering with a mixture of sadness and worry.

“Yes, Phuwin. Our agency has already arranged a replacement for you. He’s an ex-Navy SEAL from Ayd.Security, highly trained and incredibly skilled,” Mix, Phuwin’s band manager, said, gently patting his shoulder.

“An American SEAL? That sounds intriguing. That means, he’s got to have some serious experience,” Sing, the youngest band member, chimed in with an eager tone.

“Can you guys stop with the hype? I’m a singer, not in a combat zone. I’m just worried about how I’ll adapt to this new bodyguard. Who knows what kind of person he’ll be?” Phuwin sighed, sinking into the sofa with a weary expression.

The five band members lounged around, catching their breath after a grueling dance practice. “Maybe he’s some rugged guy with a stern demeanor and a few battle scars, with piercing blue eyes ” Satang mused, his imagination running wild.

“You watch too many Hollywood movies,” Marc, the band leader and  the eldest member, playfully smacked Satang’s head.

“Alright, enough speculating. P' Mix, when does he start?” Gemini, the tallest member, asked their manager with curiosity.

“He’s scheduled to start this Sunday, just in time for your comeback concert,” Mix replied, glancing at the calendar.

“Why did my bodyguard have to resign now of all times?” Phuwin groaned, closing his eyes in frustration as he imagined the upcoming changes.
