"P'Marc, tomorrow's our last day in Vietnam... Let's have a party... Please na...na...na... I promise, I'll only drink a little, not even enough to get drunk," Sing pleaded, his world-famous puppy eyes on full display, tugging at Marc's patience.
Eclipse was enjoying a rare break during their six-day tour in Vietnam. The band members were buzzing with excitement, especially Satang and Sing, who were practically bouncing in their seats, eager to celebrate. Yet, the only obstacle standing between them and a night of fun was their no-nonsense leader, Marc, sitting with a face that screamed he was done with all of them.
"You guys managed to stay off alcohol for four months. Can't you go one more month without it? God, why am I the leader of these four crackheads?" Marc groaned in disbelief, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Please, P'Marc, we swear! No more than two shots! Our bodies and moods need a little boost!" Gemini chimed in, joining Sing's plea with a grin.
"You too, Gemini? I thought you, at least, would be the mature one," Marc sighed, shaking his head. "Fine. We'll have a small celebration. But it's not going to be a crazy one. We go to a pub, drink a bit, dance, and that's it. I expect all of you to stick to the rules." His voice carried the weight of a leader who had lost all hope.
The rest of the band erupted in cheers, their excitement palpable, as if they were children being granted permission to play outside after a long day indoors.
Pond's POV:
From day one, I knew Phuwin Tangsakyuen would be the death of me. Now, it's no longer a guess-it's a fact.
It's not that he's physically killing me, but damn if he isn't testing every ounce of my patience, pushing every button I didn't even know I had. We'd only been working together for three weeks, and now, here I was, accompanying him on his band's world tour. Yesterday, he pushed me to my breaking point, making me use every bit of willpower I had not crash his pretty ass with my hard dick. Today? He's decided to try again, testing how far he can push me before I snap.
I've never had a client who frustrates me as much as Phuwin does.Spontaneously attending crowded events without giving me time to do my job properly? Check. Treating my security concerns like I'm overreacting? Check. Reminding me every five minutes that things were different with Tay, his ex-bodyguard? Triple check.
Dealing with Phuwin is like undergoing a nerve test every day. Sometimes he's clingy like a koala, so tired that he practically falls asleep on me, forcing me-someone who hates physical contact-to hold him. Other times, he's on a mission: "Let's see how much of Pond Naravit's sanity I can destroy today."
He's the only person on this planet who can make me want to pin him against a wall , kiss him nonstop one second and then glare at him like he's the bane of my existence the next.
Tonight is no exception ,
We're in Hanoi's busiest bar during "Bee's Zone Night," packed with half-off drink specials. The place was a madhouse, loud music blaring, bodies swaying everywhere.
My least favorite type of environment-and apparently, Phuwin's favorite, given how excited he'd been about coming here. The Eclipse boys are already in full party mode, jumping on their feet as they head to the VVIP zone.
Phuwin looks refreshed, his energy electric as if this was the best night of his life.
"Let's hit the dance floor!" Sing shouted, clapping his hands like an overexcited kid.
Before coming here, I did a thorough background check on these four-Marc, Sing, Satang, and the idiot Gemini, who I want to kill every time he gets too touchy with Phuwin. They're all clear, but Sing and Gemini? They're constantly on Phuwin's case, pushing his buttons in ways that may look like friendly teasing but, to me, is borderline torture.
