''Guys, I'm taking Pond to officially introduce him to others" Mix said as he led Pond outside, leaving the Eclipse boys behind.
The moment the door clicked shut, Satang and Gemini practically pounced on Phuwin, who was still lost in his daze after laying eyes on Pond.
"Bro, what was that?" Gemini shook Phuwin's shoulder. "You've got a Hollywood-level hunk as your bodyguard!"
"Seriously, Phi," Sing chimed in, excitement coloring his voice. "I had to break my neck to look at his face-his height, his muscles, those piercing eyes. He's like a living, breathing action hero!"
"People will think we're his bodyguards when they see him with us," Satang said, biting his lower lip. "His casual look alone could stop traffic. Total eye candy."
"Don't forget you already have a boyfriend," Phuwin snapped out, trying to deflect the attention away from himself.
"Whoa, acting like a jealous lover already, huh?" Satang teased, grinning from ear to ear.
"Obviously," Marc added, standing up and looking at Phuwin with a mischievous grin. "You were practically devouring him with your eyes-checking him out without even blinking."
"Stop with your nonsense! He's just my bodyguard. You all need to get your heads out of the gutter," Phuwin tried to brush off their teasing, but his bandmates just exchanged knowing looks.
Later that afternoon,
Everyone was now seated in the cozy living room of their shared apartment, the air thick with tension as Pond addressed Phuwin directly.
"You have to move."
Phuwin blinked. "I beg your pardon?"
"Your house," Pond said, his voice firm and unyielding. "It's a security nightmare. I don't know who approved the location, but you need to relocate. Immediately."
The butterflies in Phuwin's stomach froze. The room went silent as all eyes locked onto the two of them.
Phuwin POV:
I'd met him less than four hours ago, and he was already ordering me around like he owned the place. Who does he think he is?
"I've lived here for two years without any issues," I replied, trying to keep my voice steady.
"It only takes one time," Pond countered, his tone leaving no room for argument.
"I'm not moving," I said, my words laced with a sharpness I rarely used. His condescending tone was starting to grate on my nerves.
Pond closed the tablet he'd been holding, the screen showing a detailed breakdown of my schedule, upcoming events, and travel plans. "Let me be clear, Phuwin Tangsakyuen. You're not the first high-profile client I've guarded, and you won't be the last. In my three years with Ayd. Security, I've never had a client harmed under my protection. Do you know why?"
"Let me guess," I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm. "Your dazzling charm leaves potential attackers stunned into submission."
My bandmates choked on their laughter, quickly covering it up with coughs, but Pond's expression didn't budge. Of course, it didn't. Finding a drop of humor in that infuriatingly sculpted body would be like finding water in the Sahara.
"The reason is twofold," Pond continued as if I hadn't spoken. "One, I do not get involved in my clients' personal lives. I'm here to protect you from physical harm not for being your friend or buddies. Two, my clients understand that their safety depends on following my instructions-without question."
