In the main hallway, the elevator door and Leo is swaying to the music.
"Leo! Leo, would you stop? The music is done." She groaned.
"Dooley! Ivy! What are you doing in my elevator?" Principal Perry said walking up to them.
"I'm enjoying the music. Today is 'Love Songs From The Nineteens'. Wanna dance?" Leo smiles.
"Would you shut up?" She groaned, frustrated.
"Use the stairs! This is exactly how healthy kids become unhealthy adults." Perry claimed.
"Really?" She looks her up and down. "Are we having this conversation?"
"For your information, I'm a speed walker. Perhaps you've seen me at the Mission Creek Mall giving the shoppers a little eye candy." Principal Perry said walking away with a sore taste left in their mouths. Perry addresses the entire student body.
Steven comes by, "Damn. Caught by Perry?"
"Yup, so bad it left a bad taste in my mouth." She nodded.
"Listen up, space-fillers! This is an Emergency Preparedness Week. An emergency drill can happen at any time. So when the alarm sounds, you must evacuate the building in an orderly fashion -- like cattle, if cattle had acne. . . and braces. . . and a future filling up my gas tank." Perry laughs and walks away.
"What happened to her?" Steven asked.
She laughed, pushing his head back. "Oh, Stevie. . . we all know she's pure evil."
"Oh, man! I wish I had Bree's super speed! Because you do not want to be stuck walking behind cows in an emergency, trust me on that!" Adam sighs.
"You would trade your super-strength for Bree's super speed? Man, if I had your strength, I'd just run out of the building juggling those cows." Chase said.
"Yeah, and if I had your super intelligence, I'd have walked away from this conversation thirty seconds ago," Bree said.
"Hey, you know what would be awesome? If you guys took out your bionic chips and switched your abilities." Steven suggested.
"Great idea, Steven." Leo agreed.
Taelyn hit his shoulder, shocked as hell. "Would you stop encouraging him? You know what happens when you encourage them!"
