Taelyn smiles as she and Janelle are talking in the corner. Today was going to be an extremely stressful day and right now, they didn't wanna think about it.

"Hey, Janelle, how about that lunch special today?" Leo smiles, walking up to them. Taelyn is disgusted.

"Really? That's your opener?" Janelle said.

"That's what you spend an hour in the bathroom for?"

Leo groaned, looking Taelyn in the eyes. "Quiet, Tae. Well, I was gonna go with "Where have you been all my life?" but I'm only, like, 14, so... What are you up to?"

"We're signing people up for the annual one-on-one basketball tourney."

"Ew. How'd you get stuck doing that?" Leo said crunching his face.

"I love basketball," Janelle mentioned.

"Me, too! I too love the basketball. In fact, they call me "Hoop Master Leo."" Leo laughed. Even when he was lying, he was terrible.

"No, they don't."

"No, they don't. Hey, check this out." Leo smiles, holding a basketball. "Where'd that come from? Who threw that?"

"Oh, hey, do you wanna sign up for the one-on-one tourney? We need people badly." Janelle said asking a student.

"Oh. Sign me up." Leo said.

"Not that badly." Taelyn corrected, pulling the clipboard away from Leo.

"One-on-one tourney? Don't you mean "The Trent Show"? Starring Trent... With a special appearance by... Trent." Trent smiles, appearing behind the girls.

"Trent, you're the five-time champ. I already signed you up." Taelyn sucked her teeth showing a fake smile.

"You've been in high school for five years?" Leo asked.

"No. Yeah." Trent shrugged. Then he caught an ide which was very unusual for him. "Hey, little guy.. .think fast!" Trent throws the basketball and laughs.

"Okay, you got me." Leo sighs.

"Ah, that never gets old." Trent smiles.

"Yes. Yes, it does." She sighed.

"No one's signing up for the tournament because he wins every year."

"Oh, look how sweet. He's autographing that kid's cheek." Leo said. The girls and Leo looked towards Trent.

"I am literally all up in your face. And I used his freckle to dot the "I."" Trent laughed, writing his name in Sharpie on a student.

"If he just spelled "Trent" with an "I," he's gonna be here a lot longer than five years," Leo mentioned.

"And if he gets in my face again, he won't make it to another year," She groaned, staring dead at him.

She doesn't mind Trent but something inside her wants to make sure he's away from her as long as possible.
