The fingers of Beomgyu's hands traced shapes on Taehyun's back as he steadied his breathing thinking of how to respond to Beomgyu's question. He bit the corner of his lip uncertain whether he should voice his thoughts.

"I've been wondering that myself," Taehyun admitted, his voice a shaken whisper. He took a deep breath, trying to put his feelings into words. "It feels like everything's moving so quickly. But then, I look at you and I feel all my feelings coming back."

Beomgyu lifted his head slightly to meet Taehyun's gaze and smiled. "You know," Beomgyu said softly, "I've always felt like time with you is never fast enough. Even when we were apart, it felt like there was never enough time to say everything I wanted to say."

Taehyun's chest tightened with a mix of relief and warmth from the reassurance of Beomgyu's words. He reached out, running his finger's through the latter's dark brown hair. "It's just that... I don't want to mess things up. I don't want us to rush into something that we might regret later."

Beomgyu shook his head gently, pressing a reassuring kiss onto the back of Taehyun's hand. "I don't think we're rushing. We've known each other for so long; we've seen each other through so much. If anything, it feels like we're finally catching up to where we were always meant to be."

Taehyun smiled at the way Beomgyu used words to perfectly describe how they were feeling and what they were going through. Taehyun always valued Beomgyu's prominent communication skills since they were young.

Huening Kai walked up to Beomgyu who was swinging on the swings by himself. "Beomie hyung do you know why Taehyun's upset?" 

Beomgyu furrowed his brows, "Upset? What happened?" He asked as he continued swinging himself on the swings.

Kai shrugged. "I don't know he won't answer me..." 

"Where is he maybe I can talk to him?"

"He's over there in one of the playhouses." Huening Kai explained while pointing at the playhouse near the monkey bars of the park.

Beomgyu hopped off the swings and followed Huening Kai, showing him where the boy was. Huening Kai waited nearby as Beomgyu went to see what was wrong.

He lightly knocked on the door to the playhouse, "Hey it's me Beomgyu, is everything okay?"

No response.

"Did something happen?"

No response.

Beomgyu frowned feeling a bit discouraged but he still pressed on,

"Do you want to be alone?"

"No.."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

Taehyun opened the door to the playhouse and gave Beomgyu a small nod. They sat down together and began to converse.

Taehyun fidgeted with the loose thread on his shirt, he heaved a long sigh before starting, "I was playing at the monkey bars earlier but I couldn't reach them. I kept on trying and trying to grab onto them but they're just too high." He explained, his voice trembling with a hint of frustration.

 "How come everyone can do it but not me? It's not fair." 

 A single teardrop fell from his eye which the elder quickly wiped away. He gently pat his head and his lips curved into a smile of relief, had he known it was such a trivial matter he wouldn't have been so worried.

Beomgyu tilted his head, "That's all? I thought somebody said something mean to you." He shook his head and chuckled, "Come." He reached out his hand and grabbed the boys hand, "Let me help you."

Taehyun's eyes lit up, "Really?!"

"Of course! Beomie hyung is always here for you okay!" He said as he energetically raised 

"Does this mean I can finally play on the monkey bars?!" Taehyun squealed excitedly forgetting about whatever negative feelings he was feeling earlier.

Beomgyu 'mhmm-ed' and nodded his head before being dragged out of the playhouse by Taehyun and led towards the money bars

Taehyun nuzzled up closer to Beomgyu and tightened his arms around him, "I've missed you hyung."

Beomgyu smiled, "I've missed you too."

"Let's get some sleep so we can go out tomorrow hm?" Beomgyu suggested.

Sorry for the shorter chapter, I wont be updating for a while since I'm going travelling
