School has begun, how we feeling? (my legs are about to fall off from walking home everyday and I've gotten 3 shades darker ^^)
My updates unfortunately will be slowing down (I think I'm jus getting lazy tbh)

Huening Kai squinted his eyes at Beomgyu's revelation. "What do you mean actually?"

"I actually tried to reach out to you guys."

"When?"

"I actually mailed a letter to your old house, but I didn't know you moved out so I was wondering why I never got a response. So I figured maybe you moved away, but then.."

"But then?"

Beomgyu bit his bottom lip and thought about if he should say what he was thinking or not, "Nevermind, it's nothing."

Taehyun obviously knew something was up but he didn't press seeing how uneasy Beomgyu looked like he was feeling, he signaled to Huening Kai with eyes to just drop it.

"Who's ready to go to the arcade!?"

"Meeeee!!!" Beomgyu and Huening Kai exclaimed in unison.

Taehyun was behind the wheel with Beomgyu as his passenger princess , Huening Kai was lonely in the middle backseat. He didn't mind he'd rather see the childhood lovers interact then sit in the front anyways.

They decided to play some songs in the car using Beomgyu's phone, they were all enjoying themselves after being apart for so long listening to old nostalgic songs. After all that explaining, trauma dumping, and reconnecting. Now they really needed a distraction, of course an arcade is a perfect place to let out all those pent up emotions.

After about a 15 minute car ride they arrived at the arcade, the door to the establishment had a little bell over on top that squeaked a small chime. Huening Kai could already feel the nostalgic aroma of Beomgyu's 5th birthday party that happened to have been held at the same place.

Huening Kai raised a finger in the air and stared waving it,"Heyyyy!! I remember now!!"

The arcades lights were flashing vibrantly almost enchanting them to come closer. The older boys let out a small laugh as they went to the counter to buy some credits. They bought around 30 credits each, 1 credit means one game but some games also take 3 (scammers tsk). Unless they were gambling all their credits away then it should be enough.

Beomgyu sighed a breathe of relief before looking at his friends, a smile crept up onto his face. Huening Kai rushed over to a large row of claw machines. He couldn't wait any longer as the sight of plushies blinded him. Taehyun's arm slyly wrapped around Beomgyu's waist, as he let out a little gasp which quickly shifted into a smirk. He leaned into his touch as he felt a strange yet nostalgic feeling wash over him. This was where he needed to be. 

Together they walked over to a two person shooting game. It was in a little booth with two worn out stools and a toy rifle in front that had seem to have been changed since the last time they were here. They both took a seat inside of the booth and swiped their arcade credit cards. 

Beomgyu took a hold of the rifle in front of him. He gently nudged the younger in the side with his elbow, 

"Think you can beat me this time around?"  He taunted with a playful smile plastered on his face.

Taehyun scoffed sassily rolling his eyes as he fixed his grip on the rifle. He tilted his head, "Wait, didn't I win that time?"

"Hmmm I don't know about that.." He said lazily as the countdown on the screen of the game began.

"3.....2.....1.....START!"

They started shooting at the on-screen enemies, the booth was now filled with laughter and playful banter. But behind all this there was an unspoken understanding, a bond that hadn't been broken and a trust that remained the same.

"Better keep up Tyun." He teased as he flew threw the first round of monsters.

Taehyun clicked his tongue getting a headshot of the boss, his score increasing, "I might be slower but my aim is better than GYU!"

Beomgyu cringed at the stupid pun but he couldn't help but smile at Taehyun's natural cuteness. Every now and then Beomgyu would lean a little closer, their shoulders brushing together ever so slightly sending a warm chill through their bodies. The once-severed connection between them was slowly mending through these small yet sweet gestures.

A few rounds had now passed and the game was getting heated, "How are you so bad at this?" Beomgyu cackled. Taehyun bit his lip and re-engaged his attention to the game. He was now ahead of Beomgyu and he could not accept that.

In one swift move Beomgyu's lips skimmed over Taehyun's cheek cause him to miss a shot as his heart was sent into a frenzy. "That was sabotage!?"

"What do you mean??? I just wanted to kiss youuu." Beomgyu teased trying to sound clueless with a mischievous grin sprawled on his face.

"You're not real Gyu."

Taehyun's heart raced, his concentration momentarily shattered as Beomgyu's lips had just barely grazed his cheek. The playful chaos of the game paused in his mind, replaced by the thumping of his heartbeat. His cheeks flushing pink despite the dim arcade lights.

"What?" Beomgyu blinked innocently, his face a perfect picture of feigned confusion. "I wasn't doing anything. You just missed a shot."

"You're lucky this game doesn't let me disqualify you."

Beomgyu shrugged, still grinning as he continued shooting. "It's not my fault you're easy to fluster, Tyun. Maybe you should work on that aim of yours."

"Oh please, cheating isn't getting you anywhere."

"Oh really?" Beomgyu's hand trailed to Taehyun's inner thigh, "Is it, not are you sure?" He grinned.

Taehyun's eyes widened as he felt his cheeks burn hotter and a shiver surge through his body. He quickly pushed away  Beomgyu's hand as it started travelling down his knee. His focus was once again drawn far away from the game

"Hyung, seriously?" He said with a mix of shock and embarrassment.

The game concluded and the scores were being calculated as they were shown on the screen in bright colors, "See! I won, AGAIN!"

"All you do is lie Gyu."

Sorry the the extremely late update, school has been so draining. Like I legit have motivation for nothing smh.
