When Leo dropped me off I locked the front door behind me making sure I'm secured and then headed straight up to my room to see if I could get some sleep .
Mom wasn't home tonight again so I'll be my myself but it doesn't feel any different because I'm mainly home alone.

After waking up from a nap I heard the doorbell ringing.
Knowing I didn't invite anyone over and mommy is at work I was a bit skeptical but I still went down to check.
I opened the door to see Nai standing there with a bowl in her hand.
"Girl mommy boil soup and mi remember say you head a hurt you from day so mi tell her say mi a carry some come give you"
I smiled at her as I let her in and took the bowl from her hands.
"Thanks hun, you didn't have to" I smiled as we entered my house.
"Where's your mom, I wanna say hi" she said while looking around.
"Rawse mi neva tell you, mommy works at the hospital in Maypen and she mostly does night shifts so she's hardly here" I replied
"Wait so all along you over here by you self?" She asked and I shook my head
"So miss girl why you neva tell mi thattt, you over here a sleep ina eh house by you self n mi live right desso" she said while glaring at me.
"Matter of fact go pack a sleep over bag n bring you things fi school tomorrow cause you a come sleep wid mi" she continues.
"Call your mother and tell her you'll be sleeping at your besties house and if she waa talk to an adult when we reach ova yawd she can talk to mommy" she said all in one breath.
The lady not even gimme a chance fi object to rawse but aiite mi ago call mommy and see wah she say cause the little company woulda do mi good frl.
I decided to drink a little bit of the soup before calling my mom because as much as how mi sleep mi still feel lightheaded.
