A FEW WEEKS HAD GONE BY SINCE THE WALKERS HAD INVADED Alexandria. Josie entered Judith's room, picking her up from her crib before making her way downstairs. The brunette entered the living room and saw Parker, Carl, and Rick all talking.
"You and Daryl leaving soon?" Josie asked.
"Yeah," Rick replied. "Is there anything you want?"
"We need more toothpaste soon," Josie answered.
"We'll try to find some," Rick said, giving her a kiss before he kissed Judith's forehead.
"Be careful," Josie smiled.
"We always are," Rick replied. "I love you."
"I love you, too," Josie said.
Rick left the house, meeting up with Daryl as Josie turned towards her two children. The brunette handed Judith over to Carl, turning and grabbing her bow and quiver of arrows.
"Hey, mom?" Parker asked.
"Hm?" Josie hummed back, braiding her hair as she turned to her daughter.
"Can I go hangout with Molly?"
Parker had recently met a girl named Molly, she was her age and they had been hanging out a lot lately.
"Sure, I don't care," Josie replied. "But when am I going to get to meet this girl?"
Parker groaned. "Mom."
"What?" Josie asked innocently. "I'm just curious on who my daughter's hanging out with."
"She's just a friend I met recently," Parker replied. "We've just been hanging out a lot, we're like best friends."
Josie nodded. "Okay."
Carl looked at his sister, a knowing look in his eye. Parker glanced back, shaking her head as Carl nodded in understanding.
"Well, I got to get to the lookout post," Josie said. "Carl, since you're gonna be here alone, watch after Judith."
"Okay, mom," Carl replied sarcastically.
Josie smiled and rolled her eyes playfully, throwing her bow over her shoulder as she left the house. She arrived at the tower, leaning against the wall. She was up there for about an hour, bored out of her mind before she saw a man walking into the woods with a shovel strapped onto his back.
The brunette furrowed her eyebrows, pushing herself off of the wall as she looked down, spotting Rosita walking toward the gates.
"Hey, Rose?" Josie asked.
Rosita stopped walking and looked up. "Yeah, what's up?"
"Can you take a spot for a while?" Josie asked.
"Yeah, of course," Rosita replied, climbing up the tower.
"Thank you," Josie smiled at her before climbing down.
The brunette opened up the gate and stepped out, closing it behind her as she began to follow after the man. Josie followed him for a while before a walker caught her attention, so she hid behind a tree.
She peered around the tree and saw the man take out his knife to kill the walker, but he hesitated. Josie rolled her eyes, taking an arrow from her quiver and placing it in her bow. The brunette aimed her weapon at the walker, releasing the arrow as it pierced the walker in the head.
