"How are you doing. Baji?" Draken asked

"Im fine, this wound ain't shit" Baji said and smiled with his fangs showing

Draken and Mikey decided to visit Baji in the hospital, to discuss what would happen from now on

Mikey started with, "Baji, you'll continue to keep your position as 1st division captain, right?"

"Actually Mikey, I wanted to ask if I could leave Toman" Baji said with a serious face

"What?! Baji you can't be serious. You're the one who started Toman, and you wanna leave? Right after we got you back?" Mikey asked

"It's only temporary, until Kisaki is kicked out of the gang. With Kisaki in Toman, there's no telling what he'll do to try and kill me. Mikey, I know you believe Kisaki is a loyal member, so I want to prove to you that he isn't. And it will be easier to do that if he thinks that I'm not in the way" Baji explained

Mikey was silent, thinking about what decision to make, while Draken looked shocked

Draken asked, "Are you sure about this? I understand why you want to do this, but is it really the best plan?"

Baji nodded, confident this is the right course of action to follow

Mikey reluctantly agreed after some thinking, and asked how he plans on doing this

"I've already talked to Chifuyu, and him and I both agree that Takemichi is the best nominee as my replacement. Until I've got evidence that Kisaki is to blame for all of this, ill be announced as retired from gangs. As for when I come back, I'd like to ask if I can have both Takemichi and Chifuyu as my vice captains" Baji told

"Hm, alright. You can my permission." Mikey said

Seeing as their discussion was over, Mikey and Draken were getting ready to leave, when Baji interrupted

"Ehh... Mikey. There's also something else I wanted to talk about." Baji said awkardly

Mikey's eyes hardened because he knew what Baji was talking about "What."

"Come on man, you already know what I'm talking about. Don't put me on the spot" Baji commented while scratching his neck

There was a tense atmosphere in the room, and no one dared to talk first, but Mikey hesitatently sat back down, with Draken following

"Mikey, what'll you do now that she's back?" Baji seriously asked

"She is Toman's adversary. However, there is nothing we can do but ignore her. Only if shes wants to talk or fight, will I then acknowledge her" Mikey said

"Mikey, I will follow through with your decision. But would we actually fight her if she wanted to?" Draken asked

"Can i... say my true opinion?" Mikey asked. Baji and Draken reassuringly nodded

"To be honest... I don't know. Even back then, every punch i gave her felt so... heartbreaking. I loved her, and I hate to admit it, but I still do. I hated it, having to hit her, but I knew kicking her out was the right thing to do." Mikey answered truthfully

"Are... are you still mad at her?" Baji slowly asked

"When I saw her again at the battle, after 2 years, I was angry. I thought of how she didn't have the right to show up and interrupt the battle, especially after how we parted ways. But I've been thinking a lot, and I'm no longer angry. I realized if she hadn't shown up, you might've died, Baji. And I have a feeling she's the one who called the ambulance, so I'm grateful to her. But I still can't forgive her" Mikey vented
