"W-what?! Why?!?" I exclaimed. I watched as she came inside of my apartment, balling her eyes out

"H-he said he loves someone else! We were about to go on our date for Christmas Eve, then suddenly, he broke up with me!" Hina cried more after explaining what had happened

In my mind, I was panicking. Seeing Hina cry, I froze. I didn't know how to help her. Usually, Hina is a happy and smilingly person, but right now, she's heartbroken, and seeked comfort from me.

"Do... do you want me to beat him up?" I asked

Hina suddenly stopped crying and stared at me, looking like she was processing what I had just said

"...WHATTT?!" Hina yelled

"Or trash his house?" I asked

"W-wait what?! No!" Hina said

"Break into his house and steal his most valuable things?"

"Of course not! What are you talking about?!" She said

A lightbulb lit up on top of my head "Wait! I've seen this on a movie before! You want to make him jealous right? Make him regret breaking up with you right?"

Hina was left speechless. 'How can someone be someone be so scary and stupid at the same time?!' Hina thought with her jaw dropped and eyebrows furrowed

Hina unexpectedly started laughing, and I tilted my head in confusion. 'She was just crying a minute ago, and now shes laughing? Is she going insane?' I said in my mind

"Hahaha! Y/n, you're so funny! Thanks for cheering me up" Hina spoke

"Huh? How did I cheer you up? I didn't do anything yet? " I replied

Hina sweat dropped at my words and nervously asked, "When you say 'yet' you weren't actually being serious about ideas right?"

"O-oh... of course I wasn't being serious! Hahaha" I laughed like a robot, trying to lie

"Uh huh, sure you weren't" Hina said sarcastically, while side eyeing me. Hina sighed after her sentence and said, "You don't need to beat him up anyways. I punched him before I ran away" Hina added, looking away in shame

My eyes widened in shock, surprised by Hina's actions. Hina started laughing at my reaction and said, "Actually, I learned how to punch because of you! I punched him right in the face! Just like you did when you beat those delinquents up, remember?"

My jaw dropped in horror. 'Am I a bad influence on her?! Oh no... I accidentally taught her how to punch someone!' I panicked

"U-uhh, maybe don't punch anymore people..." I insisted

Hina chuckled, and slowly her smile faded away again, looking at the ground. "I can't believe he likes someone else... does he really not love me anymore...?" Hina muttered sadly

I looked at Hina with full honesty, and said, "Hina, I'm not trying to defend him, but I think he's hiding the real reason why he broke up with you. "

"Huh? What makes you think that, y/n?" Hina asked

"It's just my gut feeling. But, if Takemichi is as nice and sweet as you say he is, theres no way he'd leave you for another girl, Hina." I responded.
