Maeven's POV
~After 5 days~
After what happened at Stacia's Condo i started avoiding Astrid well how am i suppose to interact with her after what happened. I shouldn't have sex with an employee and i should not have sex with anyone that i just met.
As my mind kept drifting back to what happened between me and Astrid suddenly someone knocked on the door and a tall petit girl walked inside and just by her voice i already know who it is.
"Hey couz!" Gab said and i immediately stood up and hugged her.
"Did you miss me?" Gab asked and i nodded and pull away from the hug.
"Ofcourse, How's tita?" I asked gab and sat down the couch near the door and she did the same.
"Oh She's good naman." Gab said.
"Good to know but why did you came back? i thought you guys already settled in the US?
"Yeah si mommy andun pa sa US dito na kasi ako mag-aaral i prefer it here." Gab said and someone knocked on the door and Astrid walked inside.
"Ms.Smith your father wants to talk to you." She said and opened the door to let a tall and muscular man inside.
"Dad" I exclaimed and slowly stood up and gave him a hug while Gab stood up at nag mano kay dad.
"Hi po tito!" Gab exclaimed and hugged my father as well.
"Gab, pwede maiwan muna kaming dalawa ni Jared? you too Ms.Arvello." My dad said firmly and Gab and Astrid left as soon as he said that and he walked toward the door and locked it and turned his attention back to me.
"Why dad? Do you wanna talk to me?" I asked and he just nodded in response.
"Ano nanaman to Maeven Jared Smith." Sh1t full name, for sure his mad but what did i do though is it because of the money lose? but how could i focus on the company when my mind kept drifting back to Astrid?
"W-Why dad? I asked and i could see that his really mad just by looking at his eyes.
"I see the company lose alot of money lately what happened Jared? What happened to you? My dad said in an angry tone and slammed his fist on the table.
"S-Sorry dad." I said but i just received a hard slap from him i will admit his abusive when his mad but what could i do his my father.
"Sorry? Sorry? Maeven company naapektuhan, ano ba magagawa ng sorry mo? huh" He said and punched me in the face to the point i almost lost my consciousness but i composed my self and stood up and held my fist firmly.
"Ayusin moto Jared kung hindi,hindi kona alam magagawa ko sayo Jared kaya ayusin moto." He said and grabbed me by my collar to be honest his grip was so tight that i couldn't even breathed.
"Kung hindi moto maayos malalagot ka saakin Maeven Jared, tandaan mo anak lang kita nothing more, i could just disown you Jared." He said and i just nodded in response.
"MALIWANAG?!" He shouted and grippped my collar even tighter and at this point i could not really breathed.
"O-Opo, y-yes dad." I said and my vision is now going blurry because of how tight his gripping my collar me and we heard someone trying to open the door.
The door of my office opened revealing my cousin Gab running towards my dad and tried to remove his hand from my neck while Astrid just stood and the door shocked at what she saw as my dad choked me.
"Tito stop, your choking her, she's gonna die!!" I heard Gab said trying to get my dad's hands off me.
"I don't care and bitawan moko Gab wag kang makisali." My dad said and pushed Gab off and Gab fell on the floor while my father is still choking me i looked at Gab and i wanted to help her so bad but what could i do? his my father.
"Tito please stop" Gab said and held my dad's hand again.
"G-Gab p-please d-don't, d-dad n-not G-Gab p-please."
"Tito maawa ka anak mo parin sya." Gab said tears streaming down her face sorry Gab nadamay pa kayo dahil saakin.
And just as i was about to past out my dad stopped joking me and said "Fine" he said firmly before walking out of my office but before he was about to walk out the door he turned around and said "Pero ayusin moto Jared." he said before walking out.
I was breathing heavily while Gab is just hugging me tears still going down her face while Astrid is just standing there watching us she still looked shocked.
"Im glad you're okay now Maev why didn't tell me he was abusive." Gab said and Astrid came closer to us still just looking at us on the floor hugging each other.
"I don't know, i couldn't really do anything Gab what could i do? his my father Gab his the only family i have than you, Stacia and tita." I said and breaked the hug and we immediately stood up.
As i stood up from the ground Astrid immediately run towards me and hugged me tightly.
"Maev or boss whatever what why? why? i feel so bad for you look at your beautiful face it's all bruised up." She said after the hug and touched my chin looking at my face.
Wait wait does she think im pretty? well i am pretty but why do i feel butterflies after she said that and her touch felt so comforting and why is she worried?
"Uhm haha ah Astrid right? Uhm Astrid can i check my cousin first?" Gab asked and Astrid's face turned red as a tomato haha cute and she immediately moved back a little giving Gab space to see me.
"Haha cute you turned red." I said chuckling and reached for her cheeks and pinched it softly while Gab is just looking at me with a disgusted face.
"Yuck, nabugbog kana nga ang landi mo pa." Gab exclaimed.
"Hoy!, im not kaya and second mas better kalang mag tagalog your so yabang yabang na agad." I said trying not to show my accent but i failed miserably.
"Haha conyo." She said and i just rolled my eyes at her.
"Bala ka nga im gonna go home muna." I said and was about to walk out from the door but someone suddenly grabbed my arm.
"Wait! Maev sama ako i will take care of you." She said and i looked at her confusedly like what the hell is sama??
"Sama? What is sama?" I asked well my tagalog is not good atleast i know english!
"HAHAHHAHAHAH Bobo di alam yung sama." Gab said laughing her butt of this b1tch it's not fault im not fluent in tagalog.
I just rolled my eyes at her and took Astrid's hand out of the company and into my car i even opened the car door for her and she gladly got inside even giving me a sweet smile.
