~Before all that Happened~
3rd person's POV
Astrid walked inside the office with full confidence with the owner of the company or Maeven's father that startled the red haired woman across the room.
Maeven was mesmerized by the beauty of the taller woman standing there next to her father it was like her world stopped the background disappearing slowly.
"Maeven" Her father said firmly to the latter sitting across the room and she stood up immediately.
"Hi dad." She immediately said and came closer to her father and the beautiful woman standing next to him.
"So Maeven she's going to be your secretary." The latter's father said and she just nodded in response.
"Maeven this is Astrid, Astrid this is Maeven the ceo." The latter's father said firmly and the two woman just exchanged glances and nods.
After Maeven's dad left the two Maeven walked back to her chair and turnes her attention back to her laptop but Astrid kept running in her mind even if she tries she just cant Astrid's beautiful face kept roaming around her mind.
"Astrid ask Stacia for updates i told her to do." The red haired girl said in a cold tone acting like a cold hearted person.
"Okay po ssob." The taller girl said before leaving the latter's office and heading to Stacia to get the papers from her for her boss.
Stacia or Anestacia Luis Miller is one of Maeven's cousins here with her in the Philipines Stacia is 21yrs old female working at her uncle's company as a staff accountant.
"Hi are you Stacia po?" Astrid asked a girl with a all pink outfit.
"Ohh yes! yes! im Anestacia you can call me Stacia." Stacia said to the new employee of the company.
"Ah okay okay sabi daw ni Maeven na need daw nya ng updates." Astrid said to the girl wearing a pink outfit.
"Ahh sige, ako na bahala mag totour sayo bukas ahh, okay?" Stacia firmly said to the latter.
"Ah sige thank you din!!" Astrid said to the girl wearing all pink and the latter just nodded and smiled at Astrid wich she reciprocated back to the latter.
Astrid went back to her boss's office and knocked before going inside, she knocked three time and heard her boss say "Come in" Her boss firmly said and she walked inside.
"What did Stacia said?" The red haired boss asked in a cold tone at the latter.
"Okay daw po" She said and sat down at the sofa near the door of the office.
"Anything else po ba ssob?" The taller girl said to her boss and her boss just shook her head in response.
After a few hours passed and finally Maeven have done all her work for today and it's already night she saw Astrid sleeping peacefully in the couch and Maeven found her self staring and adoring the sight infront of her.
She stood up from her chair and walked close to the latter sleeping in her couch and she touched the latter's face.
"Gosh this is my first time seeing this pretty face of yours but you really seem to be familiar to me but who are you to me ba? I'm confused now but i know i will untangled this sooner." Maeven said in her thoughts.
Suddenly Astrid woke up opening her eyes the first thing she saw is the beautiful face of her boss Maeven just inches away from hers she was startled at first but time seemed to have slowed down her heart beat becoming faster and faster every second.
"M-Maeven w-what are you d-doing?" The taller said her voice soft.
"I just wanted to wake you up because it's already late and you still have to go home." The red haired girl said in a soft voice she found her self softening for the latter.
"A-Ah o-okay" Astrid said and was about stand up but suddenly Maeven spoke.
"Let me give you a ride" The red haired offered her giving her a soft and caring smile the latter cant help but feel butterflies in her stomach her knees weakening because of her boss's weakening soft smile.
"Hay nako Maeven baka gusto mo ikaw sakyan ko ano? ano daw? Astrid paalala lang boss mo yan okay." Astrid said in her thoughts.
"I don't take no for an answer so... let's go? It's already late and unsafe." Her boss said in a calm and caring voice and offered her hand for the taller girl.
"A-Ah s-sige t-tara na" The taller girl said and taking the latter's hand and they both went to the parking lot holding each other's hand.
"Sana all" The guard exclaimed after seeing the two girls at the parking lot together going inside his boss's car.
After a few minutes of driving they arrived at Astrid's building where her condo is located.
They both got out of the car and the taller girl started walking inside her building but she realize that Maeven is following her. Confused ahe decided to ask her boss.
"Maev are you following me?" The taller girl asked the red haired girl inside the elevator.
"Feeling im not im gonna go to Stacia's condo so to answer your question no miss Astrid im not following you." Maeven firmly said.
"Babaera pala to sayang pogi sana pero why not sayang kung sinusundan ako nito baka napapasok kopa to sa loob ng condo ko at baka dun kopa napa tulog kung ganto naman ka pogi yung makikitulog go lang, JOKE LANG LUH ANG HAROT MO NAMAN ASTRID THIS IS NOT YOU." Astrid said in her thoughts.
Astrid glanced at her boss for the last time before leaving the elevator not even bidding good bye at each other but as Astrid walked over her condo she cant help but replay her interaction with her boss in her mind and a smile playing on her lips as she kept thinking of her boss.
