"My brother, can you tell me how he is?" Margaery begged

"It isn't Ser Loras that brings me here. Your husband misses you dearly. The love between a man and wife is sacred. It reflects the love the gods have for all of us. But sin leads us away from the sacred. And only confession can purge sin." The high sparrow countered

" I have nothing to confess."

"So you believe you are pure? Perfect? Wholly without sin?"

" None of us are." She corrected

"You have started down the path. But you have many miles to go.."

"Still no luck?" Taeylor questioned. Garlan shook his head.

"Its impossible." Garlan agreed. "If i wanted to die trying i would swing my way through but there are a million of them. Popping up like ants to sugar. Too many..." garlan huffed before kicking at the basket the towels went flying. Taeylor apologized on his behalf before tugging him along.

"Cersei is free and my siblings are still hostages." Garlan hissed "i want her dead."

"If its any consolation shes a prisoner in her home now." Taeylor offered

"Her lush bed and servants at her beck and call. No." Garlan sassed. "It doesnt make me feel better."

"Sorry."

Garlan sighed turning to taeylor. He reached out for her hands.

"Im sorry." He corrected. "Its not your fault and im not mad at you. Im sorry for taking it out on you. You dont deserve my anger." Garlan added calmly

"Thank you. And I understand ." Taeylor assured. "I just want to help and i don't know how to."

"You could kiss me." Garlan shrugged

"What good would that do?" Taeylor challenged

"Distract me." Garlan answered eyes meeting hers. Taeylor would be lying if she said she didnt debate it before kissing his cheek.

"Get out of my way."

"King's orders, Your Grace." the guard countered. Gregor stood behind cersei silently.

" What are the king's orders?" Cersei barked.

"He would like you to remain in the Red Keep, Your Grace, for your own protection."

" You're barring me from attending my own daughter's funeral?" Cersei hissed

" Forgive me, Your Grace, by the king's command, I cannot let you pass."

"I would like to speak to my son." Cersei demanded

"He has left the Red Keep, Your Grace."

"She grew up." Tommen whispered staring down at his big sister.

" Almost." Jaime countered.

"Shes so beautiful." Taeylor agreed. "She was so young but then again so were you." Taeylor added touching tommens cheek

" Have we caught Prince Trystane's killers? I expect it was Mother." Tommen admitted.

" Your mother wouldn't do that."

" Yes, she would." Tommen corrected

"Yes she would." Taeylor confirmed. "It wasnt the boys fault. You said it yourself. They seemed so in love." Jaime turned his cheek. Myrcella had died in his arms. Cersei needed someone to punish trystane was available. He knew his sister. He knew her capable of worse that murdering a boy.

"Are you angry with her?" Jaime questioned

" Of course not."

"Then why didn't you let her come? She has every right to be here."

Taeylor glanced between them. She knew the sept was no longer a place of love for cersei. Not with the sparrow in charge

"They told me she wouldn't be allowed in the sept. If she had tried --" Tommen stopped himself.

" They're not putting your mother in a cell ever again. Not while I'm here. Why haven't you gone to see her? Everything she endured, she did it for you."

" Don't you think I know that? I'm sorry. But I can't." Tommen countered.

" Why not?"

"She imprisoned his wife for starters." Taeylor suggested "and all margaery ever did was love tommen."

" When the Faith Militant seized her and Margaery, what did I do? When they paraded her through the streets like a whore, what did I do?" Tommen begged. Taeylor held him s as the tears threatened to fall

" We all fail sometimes." Jaime assured

" The king is supposed to be the Protector of the Realm. If I can't even protect my own wife or my own mother, what good am I?" Tommen demanded as the sparrow came in. Jaime took Tommen by the shoulder protecting him.

" Go and see your mother and ask her to forgive you." Jaime begged before turning to the sparrow. But tommem didn't move

" Your Grace. Lord Commander."

" I want to see my wife." Tommen begged.

"The gods wait for Queen Margaery to confess her crimes and seek their mercy. The king must wait as well."

"Go and see your mother, Tommen." Jaime begged.

"Come on tommen. We will go together." Taeylor suggested. She saw garlan in the hall as they walked. He had mixed feeling about the boy king. Tommen was sweet and weak. A bad combination in a king.

"Did they put her in the red gown or the gold?" Cersei questioned.

" Gold." Tommen answered glancing back at taeylor.

"Good. It was always her color." Cersei agreed before moving to the table to pour herself more wine.

"I'm sorry for keeping you here. I shouldn't have, but I was -- I didn't want to lose you again." Tommen admitted.

" I understand. I'm glad to see you."

" I know I should have come sooner. I wanted to. I was wrong." Tommen's face turned down

" It's all right."

" No, it isn't." Tommen corrected. "I should have executed all of them. I should have pulled down the sept onto the High Sparrow's head before I let them do that to you, as you would have for me. You raised me to be strong...and I wasn't. But I want to be. Help me."

" Always."

They said forever and always but did they mean it?
