Truth or Dare

Sam's POV

It has now been two weeks since the assignment was made. Cat and I have been getting closer. Carly has also gotten closer with cat. We have been going out almost every night to different places. I definitely have zero regrets on leaving Seattle.

Tonight, cat is coming over so we could practice our performance. She should be here in a few minutes. "Hey Sam, have you seen my phone?" Carly asked coming out of her room. "I need to go buy some more drinks for us." She added. "Have you checked the kitchen?" She then ran into the kitchen and picked her phone up off the counter. "Oh here it is. Well I'm heading out. Need anything?" "Bring back a bucket of chicken." Carly then laughed and nodded her head as she walked out.

About two minutes later, Cat walked in. She usually does not knock because she's already here all the time. "Hey Sam." She walked to the couch smiling. "What up." I went to the fridge and pulled out two bottles of water for the both of us. "Carly just went to the store." I said while handing her a bottle. "Oh okay. So it's just us right now?" "Pretty much"

She then opened her water and took a small sip. "She should be back in probably about 30 minutes though." I sat down next to her. "Oh okay. Do you want to start practicing?" I nodded my head and got up to grab the guitar. Once I got back we started to practice.

Eventually Carly came back home with two bags in her hands. "Hey cat!" She said going to the kitchen. "Hi Carly!"

Carly then came straight to both of us. "Hey do y'all want to play a game tonight?" She asked getting excited. "Sure!" Cat said with a smile. "Great! I invited Tori over and she's bringing Jade." Damn. West is coming. I'm not excited for this.

Ever since cat and I started handing out, every time cat was not looking Jade always made kissing faces and I'm over it. I kind of came to terms that maybe I do like cat. But I just can't see myself being into girls. Cat just makes me feel stuff I have never felt before

Just then we heard a knock on our door. "Come in!" Carly shouted. In came Tori and Jade with some snacks in their hands. "Heyy!" Tori put the snacks on the coffee table and ran to hug Carly. By now she knew I was not a hugger.

"So what game are we playing?" I asked grabbing some of the fried chicken Carly brought. "Let's play truth of dare." Jade jumped in. "Yes!" Carly and Tori shouted at the same time. "I'll start!" Carly spoke up.

"Jade. Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to change into this shirt." Carly held up a pink and white shirt with a unicorn on it. "Ew. Okay." She threw it on with a frown. "I guess it's my turn." She then put that smirk that she always does on her face.

"Sam." Oh great here it comes.

"Truth or dare."

I can't say dare cause she's going to make me do something crazy. But I can't say truth because then she might make me talk about my feelings. Maybe dare is safer than truth. That way I don't confess something I don't want to right now.

"Dare."

"Okay Puckett. I dare you to kiss someone in this room. Your choice."

Okay maybe I should've said truth. Maybe I can choose Carly because we are so close. I definitely can't pick Tori. I barely know her. And if I pick cat then that gives me away. Oh I have an idea.

"Fine then. I pick you West."

Everyone's mouthed dropped. I tricked her. I put a smirk on my face. "Smart play Puckett." She said with a grin. I then went up to her. I put both my hands around her neck and pulled her into a kiss and I made sure to put passion into it. She's been messing with me so much so this is my way of giving her payback.

I then backed up and wiped my lips. "Nice kiss Puckett." "Not to bad yourself West." I then sat back on the couch next to cat. The other three girls still sitting in shock.

We continued to play for a while now. Jade stopped teasing on me so I definitely made my work out there.

Eventually Jade and Tori left and Carly went into her room to get ready for bed. Luckily it was Friday night so we had no school tomorrow.

"So, you wanna stay over?" I asked cat as I grabbed some chips from the table. "Sure." She sounded a little sad. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing. Just I thought you didn't like girls." I wonder why something like that would bother her. So what if I did. "I don't."
"But the way you kissed Jade. You did it so effortlessly. And you seemed to like it." Oh right. I forgot that even happened to be honest. "It was a dare. I mean I had to take Jade up on the challenge." "I guess you're right." She got up and headed to the bathroom.

I don't know what's gotten into her. I went inside my room and took my shirt off and unclipped my bra. I'm just ready to get comfortable so I can sleep. I then unbuttoned my pants. Before I could take them off I turned around to lock my door. But then I saw cat just standing there staring at me. I didn't even hear the door open or anything. "Oh my god cat!" I screamed running to put a shirt on. "When did you get here."

"Uh.. I uh.. I was just coming to ask to barrow some clothes to sleep in."

She started to turn red. I was she acting so flustered. I just flashed her basically. I felt so embarrassed. "Here take this." I gave her my black t-shirt and red shorts. "I'm going to finish getting ready so if you don't mind please look the other way." I said letting out a slight laugh.

She turned around and I started to take off my pants. She then started taking her shirt off while still facing the other way. I think maybe she thought I was also facing the opposite way. But now I just kinda wished I could see her, just like she saw me.

I shook the thought out of my head then put on my shorts.

                          Cats POV

I still can't get the thought of Sam kissing Jade out of my head. Jade knows how I feel about sam. But when she kissed her back that crushed me. They both kissed with so much passion. And sure it was just a game but why did Sam choose her. Why not me. I thought maybe she did have some feelings for me but I guess I was wrong.

And on top of that, I just seen Sam shirtless. Like completely. It was hot. I just wanted to run at her and kiss her. I can't do that though. She says she does not like girls but after that kiss I just can't believe her. I'm happy I'm staying over though. I love spending time with Sam. We practically never leave each others side.

Everyday at school we walk each other to class and always go home together. I'm always over. I even got the chance to get to know Carly. Oh my god. Carly! Why didn't I ever think of that!

"Hey I'm gonna go get some water real quick." I told Sam while running out. I rushed over to Carly's room and immediately knocked on her door. She opened it super fast. "Can I come in?" I asked while still going in anyway." "Sure I guess." She said laughing and closing the door.

"So I have a question. You know about Sam."

"Okay? What is it?"

I didn't know how I was going to word this but I feel like Carly is my only hope. "Has Sam ever liked a girl before. She keeps saying she's not interested in girls but I just can't believe her."

"I mean after the way she kissed Jade, I am honestly not sure."

Carly noticed it too! I knew I was not crazy. Well.. whatever that's not the point.

"Why? Do you like Sam?!" Carly was now getting super excited. "Well yeah. I'm really starting to like her but, I don't know, just she won't show any signs of being interested in me."

"Just give her some time."

Just then we heard a knock on Carly door. "You guys in here?" We heard from the outside of the door. "I'll be there in a second! Carly was giving me some of her perfume." I said. "Oh okay. I'll be in my room." We then heard foot steps walking away.

"Okay just can you try and see if Sam maybe is into girls? It does not have to be me I just really need to know so I can see if I at least have a shot."

"I can try. Sam's always been more to herself. She usually always opens up to me though so I'll see."

"Omg thank you so much!"

I hugged Carly and rushed out of her room. I feel like I'm making such a big deal out of nothing but I just need to know.
