New Town New School

                       Sam's POV

This is so exciting. Finally Carly and I get to move out together and start our own lives. We arrived in LA and immediately started heading to our new house. We decided we had enough to buy one.

Once we got to the house we opened the door and already fell in love. It was a nice modern look all around. "Wow. This is beautiful." Carly said setting her stuff inside. "I can't believe we were able to do this." I walked in right after her. We both went to go pick out our new rooms. I picked the room right by the kitchen so I was close to the fridge. There was a big bathroom inside with lots of space.

Once we got settled we sat down at the kitchen table to discuss our plans. "So since we are starting over.. does that mean no more school?!" I said hoping Carly would agree. "No Sam." She laughed. "I think I know a good place we can go to." Carly grabbed her phone out. "Remember Tori Vega?" She asked while typing in her phone. "Oh the one from that party?" "Yeah her! Well I've been in contact with her and she thought it would be a good idea to apply to her school." Carly sat her phone down and got super excited.

"Apply?" I asked. Who applies to a school. "Well you see, her school is not just some normal high school. It's like a talent school."
I stood up confused. "What talent would I have?" "Well your singing is incredible. Plus you never told anyone how good you are at place guitar yet so that could come in use." I should've never told her about my guitar.

After my mom fully left me, I decided to find something new to distract myself. That just happened to be the guitar. I learned how to play super fast and soon Carly and I always made little performances of us doing duets with it. "Okay well, let's check it out!" Maybe I can get used to this.

Carly and I went up to the school and showed our talents together with one of our favorite duets. It's from a movie called Tick, Tick.. BOOM! We performed therapy which we love. I played Johnathan while Carly played Karessa.

They loved us and gave us a yes! We start officially tomorrow. That's when school starts for everyone. It's going to be our senior year. We went out to lunch to celebrate. "Oh my goodness we need to tell Tori!" Carly grabbed her phone and called Tori on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Hello? Tori?"

"Oh hey Carly!"

"We got in!"

"Omg that's awesome! You guys need to come over to celebrate. I'll invite my friends who go to school with me."

"Okay! We'll be there in a hour."

They then hung up the phone. I just sat there eating my French fries watching Carly get excited. "So, a party, with strangers.. fun." I said with zero enthusiasm. "Come on Sam! Maybe we can meet new friends." "But I have you. I don't want new friends." Carly's been my best friend for so long. She's honestly my sister at this point. We both have not left each other sides ever. "Sam it'll be okay. I'll always be here and you know that. Plus we live together." "Fine. Let's go." I took one last night of my chicken then grabbed my coat to put on.

We arrived at Tori's pretty fast. Carly did one knock and immediately Tori answered. "Come in come in!" She pulled both of our arms. "Congratulations! I'm so excited to get to school with you two." She hugged us super tight. I am not a fan of hugs. I really only let Carly hug me. But I can't be mean to someone who's trying to help. Plus Carly made me promise to be nice.

"Hi! I'm Andre!" "And I'm beck." We were greeted by two guys right off the bat. "I'm car-" "we know! We watch icarly." Andre cut Carly off seeming excited. "Oh that's cool!" Carly said with an awkward smile. Just then I seen someone wearing tight black clothes and next to her was this red head. Wow she looks really pretty. Her hair was straight and long and she wore a short black dress that was a little loose at the end. I couldn't keep my eyes off her.

"Sam.. Sam? Sam!" Carly shoved my arm. "You okay?" She asked with a slight laugh. "Yeah yeah I just am still tired from these past few days." I walked over to the two girls watching us to great them. "Hello Puckett." The girl with the brown hair said. "You a fan?" I asked rolling my eyes. " nope." She added with a straight face. "She's lying." The red hair spoke up with a smile. "Hi my names cat valentine and this is my friend Jade west." Cat is such a cute name. I wonder what's up with this Jade chick though.

"Nice to meet you cat." I said with a smile then looked at jade. "So what are you into?" I asked with a smirk. "Oh you know.. knifes, black, hate." I think me and this jade chick could get along. "What about you Puckett?" She then asked me. "About the same but add food and pain." I said back. "Huh. I like you. I approve. Welcome to the group." She then gave me a nod and walked to the kitchen table to sit.

"Well you guys let's party!" Tori said turning on some music. "So, Sam.. do you have your schedule yet?" Cat asked sitting down on the couch. "Oh yeah here." I reached into my bag and pulled out a piece of paper with my schedule. I handed her the paper and she started to look at it. "Yay! We have so many classes together. You're going to love Sikowitz class." She said handing me my paper back. "What kind of name is Sikowitz?" I asked while putting the paper back in my bag. "Nobody knows." She started to let out a laugh.

"Yo Puckett." I heard coming from the kitchen. "What West." I'm assuming this is a thing to call each other by our last names. I started to walk towards her. "Want a beer?" I looked over at Carly who was talking to Tori. She would never allow this. "Sure." I said grabbing it from her hand. I opened it and immediately started to chug it. "Woah slow down there Puckett." I put the empty can down and sat next to jade. "You some kind of alcoholic or something?" "Nah I only drink here and there. I just didn't want Carly to see." "Oh so she owns you." Jade then had a smirk on her face. "Are you too in love." She asked leaning closer. "Funny. No. She's literally my sister." I added back. "You do like women though." She asked again. "I do not." "You're lying." What is she going on about.

"Have you ever kissed a girl?" She started to quiz me. "No." "What about a boy?" "Yes." "Did you like it?" "For one of them, yes." "So you like both." "What?! No." "You want another beer?" "Yes!" I then grabbed the beer and opened it and chugged it as well. Jade just had a smirk on her face.

I turned around to see Carly now dancing to the music with Tori and Andre. I looked on the couch and saw cat smiling. She looks so pretty. I just want to stare at her but I don't understand why. "You like cat don't you." I heard a voice behind me. "What? I just met her. Plus get the idea of me liking a girl out of your head West." She still had that smirk on her face. "Whatever you say Puckett." She then handed me another beer which I then chugged again.

Once I finished it I got up and headed to Carly who was now sitting on the couch. "Hey Sam! You having fun? It seems like you already found a new friend." I looked behind me and saw Jade who just gave a small wave with the same smirk on her face. "I wouldn't exactly say friend."

Finally then party was over and Carly and I started to head home. Once we got there I went straight to our couch and plopped down. "Sam we need to start getting ready for bed." Carly started walking to her room. "Yeah yeah yeah I will in a second." "You've been acting so weird since the party." She started to come sit next to me. "Just meeting new people takes a lot out of me." "Aww come here." She reached her arms out and i fell right into them. I hate showing affecting but with Carly I had no problem with that.

"Well I'm going to head to bed. Don't stay up too late alright?" "Fine." I then got up and headed to my room. I grabbed my guitar and just started to sing a little to take my mind off of everything. Eventually I got tied and put the guitar down and fell right asleep.

After all tomorrow is a big day.
