Boss didn't feel right when he woke up that morning and noted Noeul already packing his bags. Somehow he felt like he's not yet ready to part with his former boyfriend.

"Where you're going?" Boss asked, trying to sound as casual as he could.

"Leaving."

"Okay," Boss leaned against the door, watching Noeul combing his hair and looked at himself in the mirror. "You want to eat something?"

"No."

"Maybe eat some eggs to..."

"I'm not hungry. I'm going to eat on the way," Noeul cut him off, and pulled his sling bag on his back. boss watched as the smaller guy strode to the door and opened it without turning to look at him.

He was really mad at him. Boss knew it was because he didn't think that Noeul's jealousy is significant for him.

"Do you want me to drive you anywhere you want to be?"

"I called Grab already," Noeul said, as he stepped out of the door and down the stairs. Boss followed behind, just to see Noeul go. He was a bit clumsy climbing down the stairs that were narrow, and he do look kind of grumpy. Boss saw Noeul pulled out his phone and stared at it for a while and sat down on the bench in front of the house. Boss stayed upstairs, just to watch over Noeul until somebody picked him up.

"I don't think he will come here," Boss said, after 30 minutes of waiting. Noeul sighed loudly, and even grumpier.

"They should tell me that they cancelled the trip already," Noeul scrolled the Grab apps and grunted. "Shia! When did he cancel this trip? Why don't somebody call me?" he stomped his feet on the ground, throwing tantrums like a kid.

"Do you want me to send you to your office?" Boss offered again. "I have some free time before my evening shift, I can send you and back to my station."

"I'm calling another Grab,"

"Noeul,"

"I don't want you to help me!" Noeul shrieked, but then he put his hand on his mouth abruptly. "I'm sorry, I'm just..." he groaned. "I don't want to burden you anymore."

"You're not a burden to me, why do you keep saying that?" Boss took his motorcycle key and both helmets and gave one of them to Noeul. "I'm sending you to your workplace,"

"Boss!"

"Why don't you want me to send you? It's just a friendly gesture,"

"Friendly?!" Noeul's face became more scandalised. Boss shook his head lightly and pulled Noeul's elbow gently.

"Come on, I'll send you myself so that you're not lost in between commute,"

So Noeul had to climb unto Boss' motorcycle and rode together to his workplace. He had no choice but to succumbed to Boss' suggestion because he knew it was almost impossible to get a cab to pick him up from Boss' house. He was quite surprised when he first glanced at Boss' house. It was quite a narrow and long way from the main road, but still possible to get by if the cab driver is willing to.

But it's early in the morning and Noeul knew he would be waiting for quite some time more for another cab to come by.

He tried really hard not to embrace Boss from behind, but the rocky road and the twist and turn of the countryside road would be impossible for him to only hang on the back handle. He put a hand on Boss' side. Boss' hand pulled Noeul's finger, gesturing for Noeul to put his arm around his waist. Noeul complied and put his arms around. He could feel his face blushed instantly by the proximity. He smiled to himself, willing not to look like an idiot.
