Chapter one, part two

My god I fucking hate math class the only good thing about it is it's one of the classes I share with Scarlett but we don't even sit next to each other . I saw her glance at me slightly waving I waved back and went back to the watching the teacher talk about calculus or whatever he's going on about I zoned out so long ago ( just popping in to say hi and yes this will be a normal thing with me ) As the teacher went on about math I was trying not to fall asleep until some girl kicked the back of my chair. I turned my head it was my cousin she smiled then went back to his work. I thought he was in something academy I don't know I can't remember the full name. The bell finally rung math class was over. I could see Scarlett waiting by the door. " hey who kicked you in the back" * my cousin Alexa but I just call her Alex everyone does* Scarlett's eyes widened " two things you average a cousin and she's the new girl that joined the team. We walked out the door as we talked about how she couldn't believe she never knew I had a cousin. We eventually split up to different classes I have reading she has English. When I made into the classroom when I tell you it burned my eyes it was the brutes yellow paint on the wall you could think off with some small trees. " ahh Mr Grayson is it well pick a seat and sit down we're just waiting on two other students then we'll start class" eventually they came in and we started the teacher started by introducing herself as ms.brandy. " okay class for today just pull out a book and read if you don't have one pick one of the shelf it'll help me see what I'm dealing with this year okay have a fun read. She sat down and started writing something. I walked over to the shelf she had some good books. 1984, the page master, Harry Potter all of them, magnus chase huh I've seen that guy and a blue eyed guy. somewhere in a picture with my dad weird, some encyclopedias about random things, a few comics. I picked up the goblet of fire and sat down reading it. It was about a good 45 minutes before the the bell rang. " okay class if you borrowed one of my books please put it back safely and leave the room". It was lunch time [ now we're talking ] I walked to the cafeteria and scanned the room looking for Scarlett. I eventually found her and sat down next to her. * hey scar how was English* she looked up from her taco " ehh it was okay I guess what about you I know you like reading". I shrugged * better than math I just sat there reading Harry Potter* she smiled at that fact we sat there and just talked enjoying each other's company during lunch. * so you have training today * she shook her head no as she was eating. * but you said you do earlier*. "They canceled practice about an hour ago". * ahh okay I was getting confused for a sec* she smirked " I can tell you are a little slower than us normal folk". I chuckled I had no comeback to that. *Well I gotta head to English class I'll see you in history later bye* She waved still stuffing her face full of tacos. I hope history's fun again this year surprisingly it's the same teacher I had last year. *Mr m I thought you teach grade nine* My Voice full of shock. " I did but they moved me up" *cool I get taught by you in ninth and now tenth grade* he chuckled and told me to sit down.  Class went on as normal I had a bit more fun I guess when the bell rang I told my teacher I liked today's lesson and walked out of the class.    Scarlett walked up from behind and grabbed both my shoulders.  "Boo"      I turned my head to see her making a face.    * your face is more scary then you trying to actually scare me*   Then that's when she hit me on the shoulder acting all offended.         " how could you I look amazing today" she spun acting like she as if would if she had a dress on.  " I mean look at me how could I not". She looked at me grinning ear to ear.  " so you gonna say something or just gonna stand there staring at me" she snapped her fingers right in my face  * that's loud you know* * and I wasn't staring I was thinking* " thinking about what exactly" * not you * She rolled her eyes telling me about how much fun it's gonna be when she gets out of school today as we walked to history class. * what exactly are you gonna do when you get home that your that excited* She shrugged. "Who knows Oh hey I can come over to your house later and hang out I mean it's not like I stay at my house anyway my parents are gone half the time doing work whatever it is that they do exactly I have no clue" Scarletts parents are constantly going around the world my mom offered to let her stay at my house a bunch so she didn't have to move around with them. She still stays at her house sometimes but she stays at mine a lot I mean a lot. But it's fine she's like the only good person in the stupid town and I'm glad to have her as a friend. * I'm fine with that... actually I just got a new skateboard we can go to the park and ride there after school* we stopped in front of the class door. "That's fine with me" we walked in to history class. This year the teacher let us pick our own seats of course we pick the very back corner of the class. " okay class today we learn about one of the kings of the medieval ages king Henery the 8th" a bunch of the students groaned. I didn't mind it actually I like history. The class went on as you would think some kids being dumbass's. Some actually learning one kid fell asleep  [cough cough Scarlett] I actually enjoyed it  [I mean I've probably learned about him about 50 different times over the school years but hey better than math].  I turned to Scarlett's desk before the teacher noticed and gently tapped Scarlett's back . *hey Scarlett wake up class is over time to get out of here*.  She just groaned slowly stirring.  * come on get up*  she sat up rubbing her eyes trying to adjust to the bright light in the class.  [ when she turned to look at me I mean when I say she looked pissed I mean it]  " asshole I wanted to sleep"  *yea well schools over and we have plans to go to the park and ride around on my skateboard and roller blades so get up let's go*    " ughhhhh fine I'm coming"
