Who Knew??

Chapter 3:

I wake up to the birds chirping outside my bedroom window. I glance over at the clock to see 6:30 am. I guess I'm still not used to this time here. I get up out of bed and walk towards the window, when I reach the window, the cool morning breeze hits me in the face. Ahh! Feels great. I look up at the moon and I just giggle. "Their moon and sun are so weird here, the moon looks really tired." I say to myself. I have an hour and 30 minutes till classes start....what shall I do?? I think to myself for a little bit. I GOT IT!! I can make some breakfast for Soul, since he is really the only one who doesn't pressure me to hear about my mistakes. That's what I'll do! I shut the window and quietly tip-toe to the kitchen. I grab everything I will need to make this breakfast delicious! I laid everything out on the counter. Okay, I got bacon, eggs, milk and flour for the pancakes, orange juice. I just got the pan out when I hear something fall to the ground, I turn quickly to see a purple cat with a hat one. "Oh! I didn't know they had a cat? You are so cute yes you are?" I say reaching my hand to pet its head. I picked up the cat and held her in my arms just petting her. Then it begins to claw. "Ow ow ow! Chill cat!" I say. I felt my shoulder get heavier so I looked at my shoulder only to see the cat sitting on it like it was a tree limb or something. I shrug and continue to make breakfast. About 30 minutes into cooking, everything is done. I go to grab the cat that I thought was on my shoulder but when I looked she was gone. I look around the room to see if I could see her but the one place I didn't look was the counter.....I slowly turn to see going to grab a piece of bacon so I rush over to the cat. "Excuse me, that is for Soul and besides cats can't have human foods so run along." I say while putting her on the ground. "Who says I can't have human food??" I heard a voice coming from behind me. I turn to see the cat sitting there. "Did you just....talk?" I began to poke the cat. "EXCUSE ME IM NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN JUST POKE WHENEVER YOU WANT!" She says and a cloud of smokes forms around her. WHAAATT????? I cough, swatting the smoke away from my face, only to see a naked women sitting where the cat was. "I must say. I didn't think Soul would get a partner and a beautiful one at that." She says. "WOAH WOAH WOAH! You were a cat a second ago and now your a women, a NAKED one might I add! Go put some clothes on!!" I say covering my eyes. For a second everything was quiet, I slowly open my fingers to see that the cat/girl person was gone. I sigh from relief a little to soon cause as soon as I did I felt something poking my chest. "You have bigger boobs then Maka! They are almost as big as mine!" She says. I grab my boobs and push her away. "You have no right touching me there and didn't I tell you to put some clothes on!?!!!!" I yell. "Fine." She says turning around. Thank god. I get the table set and I glance at the clock 7:15, good a few minutes to eat. I look back at the table to see the cat/girl sitting there again. "I'm sorry about earlier, I just didn't realize cats could turn into people here." I say. "Oh don't sweat it dear! At least you didn't try to kill me to get my soul like Maka and Soul did at first! Haha" she says cheerfully. "Soul tried to kill you????" I asked in shock. She nods and says " They thought I was a witch but I'm only a cat with an insane amount of magical power." "Oh that makes senses..I guess. Who is Maka, might I ask?" I ask. "Souls old partner, she left to take care of her sick mother all the way across the world." She said. "That's why Soul didn't have a partner." I say finally understanding. "Yeah, where's your partner?" She asks. "I- She's... -" "That's not something that concerns you Blair." Soul interrupts, im glad he decided to do so too. "Humph Mister Grumpy pants is awake." She says with her mouth full. "Did we wake you?" I ask. "Nah, I smelt something good cooking so I got up to see what it was. Pancakes, Eggs, and Bacon looks delicious." He says sitting down at the table. "It is good!! You are a very good cook!" Blair yells. "Thanks" I say. We all eat in silence for a few more minutes. When everyone was done eating I cleaned off the table and put the dishes in the sink. I then ran up to my room and got dressed before I left my room I glanced at the clock "7:26" okay. I then quickly went back to the kitchen and washed all the dishes so they wouldn't stink up the apartment and bring bugs inside. "Hey Kusabi, you ready?" Soul asked from behind me. I nod and we both walked out of the apartment. "Wait her for a second." Souls says while walking around the corner with his hands in his pockets. "Where are you going?" I ask but he continue to keep walking. Well fine, guess Blair was right. You are Mister Grumpy Pants. I stood there, kicking pebbles till I heard and engine start up. What is that? Then the sound just got closer and closer till I seen Soul on a motorcycle. You've got to be joking????? He pulled up in front of me and sat there for a second waiting for me to get on but how could I move? I'm in shock. "What you scared?" I asked. "No, quite the opposite actually. That is a very cool motorcycle!! How did you? Why did you? Where can I get one?!?!" I asked excitedly. "Haha, come on I'll answer all of those questions later. I'm guessing you don't want to be late for your second day at the academy, right?" He says in a mocking tone. All the excitement I had was thrown away when he said academy. "Fine but you have to let me drive this thing at least once!" I say while getting on the motorcycle. It looks like it suits his personality, cool I guess xD "I never let anyone drive this, sorry" he says. You've got to kidding me. I see this motorcycle that is the best looking and sounding one I've seen so far and he won't let me drive it.....bummer... He pressed the gas and we went "flying" through the streets. And it's the fastest?!?!?!?!?! I think I'm in love..... With the motorcycle of course. We end up pulling into the academy grounds in what felt like no time. "So, how was that? I figured you might've wanted to get here quicker so you can make some friends. You can't be a loner forever." He says while giving me a smirk. "I wasn't a loner, I was excluding myself from society." I said while smirking back. "You just used bigger words to describe loner." He mocks. "Whatever-" was all I could get out before I heard someone yell my name. "KUSABI!!!!!!" A girl screamed before she grabbed me and squeezed me. "Hey ! It's been so long since I've seen you last! It was like, what?, 13 hours?!?!?! Hahaha" Patty said enthusiastically. "P-Patty....can't...BREATHE.." I manage to stutter. "Oh right Hahaha" she says while letting me go, allowing me to fall to my knees to catch breathe. "You okay?" I heard someone above me ask. I look up to see a kid with black and white hair. "I'm fine, your Death the Kid right?" I ask. "That's me. Kusabi isnt it? Souls new partner." He says pulling me up to my feet. "That's right." I say, shaking his hand. I heard some commotion behind Kid so I looked only to see the same group of people crowded around a very skinny kid with pink hair. "That's it." I say walking away from everyone. "Stop hitting me, you are all so mean! I don't know how to deal with that." The skinny kid says. "Now your kicking me, I don't how to handle this." He says putting his hands over his face. I push through the crowd to the skinny kid. "Are you alright?" I ask putting my hand on his shoulder. "I'm fine but I don't how to deal with this. Your a girl, I'm not good at talking to girls. The only girl I talk to is my friend Maka." He says. Before I can respond one of the guys interuppts. "Look guys! Now we have to losers here to pick on! Let's teach both of them a lesson. Both of you are losers, you give this school a bad repuatuion." He yells while throwing his fist towards the back of my head but before he could collide with head I grabbed his hand and slowly turned to face him. I glare at him before speaking. "The only loser I see here is you, you are the ones who give this school a bad reputation. If I see you bullying anyone again, I will kill you, got it?" I say very low. "Red eyes? Blonde hair? It's that girl from yesterday! Run!" Someone in his group yells and they all begin to scatter. After I calm down a bit, I then turn back around and kneel in front of the skinny kid. "I'm Kusabi, what's your name?" I smile toward him. "C-Crona..." He shyly replies. "Well Crona, i was wondering if you would be my friend as well? Please say you will?" I say while extending my hand. He seems like he has seen a ghost because his face goes pale but he gently nods and grabs my hand. "Thank you Crona." I giggle and give him the biggest smile ever.
