I was walking by the pool & my phone started to ring, it was an unknown number. "Hello." I said. "Look up." The anonymous caller said. "What? Who is this?" I asked. "Just do it." So I did, & there, in the lounge I found my first day, was Jack. I smiled. "I'm guessing you want me to come up there." I inferred. "Yes, if you would." he said. Then I hung up the phone & started to walk to the lounge. Once I made it up there, Jack stood by a table for two in a pair of khakis, a plain white t-shirt, & white converse with a single rose in his hand. I smiled so hard that it hurt afterwards. "Your so sweet!" I acknowledged. I gave him such a big hug I think he almost fell over. We sat down across from each other & I prepared for this possibly dreadful or possibly delightful conversation.
"You are like no other girl I've ever met before, & I've met a lot. When I first met you, I just treated you like another fan. But your not just another fan, your real. You treat me like a real person, you know & I don't get that a lot. Don't get me wrong my fans are amazing, I wouldn't be anything without them, but your so much different." he said then took a deep breath to continue. "Right before I kissed you I had this undeniable feeling that I couldn't resist. I kept trying to figure why I had that feeling & what it meant, & I came to a conclusion that... I have feelings for you, or in other terms, I like you." he explained. I just smiled. "Well are you going to say anything back?" he nagged. "Oohhh you mean if I like you too." he nodded his head. "Jack, just think about that for a moment. if I'm one of your fan, why would I not like you." I giggled. "Yeah I guess that is true." he said. "So what does this make us?" I asked. "Well dating after a day of really knowing each other would be crazy, but we like each other so lets just see where this goes." he explained. "Sounds good." I said smiling. Jack then closed his eyes & started to lean in so I did the same. It was magical, but so weird. I mean just a couple days ago I only knew him through a screen, & now I was kissing him. This must be fate.
