"Leo naman eh! Mamaya na 'to i pe-perform, umayos ka nga!" Prim's shout echoed throughout the room.

"Ngina naman kasi, Founders day na founders day tapos ito tayo, nag pa-practice lang dito sa room! Gago, 'di naman tayo sasabak sa competition ah?!"

Prim slapped the top of Leo's head. "Yan! D'yan ka magaling! Sa pagiging tamad mo! Hindi porket hindi 'to competition lalaroin nalang natin, may points kaya 'to sa pe!"

Leo shot Prim a glare while caressing his head, "Hoy, Prim! Halos araw-araw na tayo nag pa-practice, give us a break!"

I let out mentally sigh. I was sitting on the ground with one knee bent and the other extended, my hand resting on top of my bent knee.

For the first time, I am actually with Leo. I'm tired and drained as fuck. We've been practicing for almost every day.

Made me think that hiring a trainor was a better option.

I was out of breath when I looked up, extending my hand in a silent plea for help from Leo to stand up. The countless hours of practice had made my feet go numb, and I desperately needed a break.

He leaned back, placing his hands on his hips as he caught his breath. Just as he was about to reach out to take my hand, someone suddenly appeared behind me. Their arms encircled my shoulders in a gentle yet firm grip, effortlessly helping me stand up.

There was a moment of astonishment, but my widened eyes immediately turned into a glare one when I realized it was Kyan. "Joiner." I muttered as I rolled my eyes.

He looked at me with a fake innocence, "Just trying to help you."

I frowned and didn't respond anymore. I left him and went to sit on my chair. Leo was already there, playfully smirking at me.

"Close na pala kayo.... parang dati lang..."

"What are you saying? Close?" I glanced at him before fixing my hair using my phone camera, "We're not even friends."

Kumonot ang noo niya na napa nguwi, "Ano 'yan? More than rivals pero less than friends? Ganda din ng trip niyo 'no?"

"Shut up, focus on why he ghosted you instead."

He raised his chin up and smirked, "Alam ko na bakit...."

"Why?"

"Natatakot na mas ma mahulog sakin..." He shrugged his shoulder, confidently, "Poging pogi yata sakin. What can I say?" He put the back of his palm under his chin, "Sino bang hi-hindi dito?"

"Disgusting..."

But instead of getting offended, the side of his lips slowly curled up. He leaned in his chair and whistle playfully, "Bro, naka tingin si Kyan dito."

I was about to turn my head around to look at Kyan, when Leo slapped the side of my chin, forcefully making me looked back at him.

"Amputa, 'wag kang mag pa halata. Dapat lowkey lang, kasi lowkey rin feelings mo!" He whispered, but with a harsh tone.

I shot him a glare. "Fucker, you don't need to slap me!" I whispered back, emphasizing every words.

"Tahimik, mag tiwala ka sakin.... I'm good when it comes to this."

Someone cleared their throat. Is he a flash or something? Perhaps... kabuti? I learned the word from Leo. That fucker always calls me that.

I didn't hesitate to looked up, Leo didn't stop me anymore either since he himself, also looked up.

I was met with Kyan's face, who's unsurprisingly wearing his signature grin. He has a water battle on his hand, which he eventually put on my armchair.
