Chapter 2. Miles

A dark room with Tons of Large test tubes filled with green water.
All of them contained Mutated Mobians but they all had stickers that said "Failed " on them except 2 of them but one was empty and the other was A fox with long bangs and a small mullet in the back.
He was just there floating, with his eyes closed and in the green water that was most likely slowly being taken over by bacteria.
" do y-you think There dead?" Amy asked in a slight panic Tone, Looking around the cold metal room with floating mutated creatures.
Shadow turned to her with a unreadable expression
" There not at least not . . . One "
Everyone turns to look at shadow with worry and confusion.
Sonic furred his eyes.
" what do you mean shadow?
They can not possibly be dead!"
Sonic yelled at shadow.
" What? Haven't noticed yet faker?"
" Noticed What shadow?" Sonic said with a slight worried tone.
Shadow looked away from sonic and pointed towards the side of the floating bodies.

An air Vent metal box was attached to the The Large test Tubes on one side.
You could hear the humming of an air vent. The room looked like it contained more than 60 Creatures. The test Tubes were in 3 lines that looked like it could go on forever.
But In closer inspection all the Creatures air vents were off or the Creatures were slowly or already rotting, what used to be light green water was light brown.
The only air vent on was the foxes with a Large Red M on his Test Tube.

The rest of the crew stares in shock.
"N-o no NO! . . .They should have had a happy life not die in a cruel place!Shadow please tell me it's not true! " sonic looked at shadow with pleading eyes. shadow knows how sonic is, sonic would give his life away if it meant someone else will live.
Shadow looks away.
" I'm sorry faker but you couldn't stop it, if you could it's in the passed "
Shadow said as he stood quiet for a few seconds until he spoke again.
" but we still have a survivor and we should pur our focus on them" he said with a straight Voice.
" We should probably split up to find more information or whatever we can find." Rouge said to the crew.

" how about Rough and Knuckles look for clues or information while me , shadow and Amy get the fox out!" Sonic said with determination in his voice.
Amy looked at sonic with an unshore look. " what will I do exactly? I don't wanna touch bacteria water" Amy said with a small sound of disgust. Sonic looked at amy.
" don't worry amy we need you to make a small bed on the floor with
towels!"
" Ok!"

While Rouge and Knuckles where looking for information. Sonic ,Amy and shadow tried there best to take out the fox from the test Tube.

Shadow walk up to the Tube and looked at all the buttons and pressed a green one that made the inside of the test tubes drain the green water.
When the water is done draining the body that was floating was now on the floor of the tube with there Oxygen mask on.
The test Tube door started to beep and then a click sound as the door opens.
Sonic slowly starts to walk into the tube and slowly picks up the fox as shadow watch from afar.
Sonic starts to slowly walk over to amy and her bed she has made.
Sonic slowly put the fox down on 5he bed and readjust his oxygen mask as amy starts to dry him.
" hey were backkkk!~" say Rouge as knuckles walks behind her.

Shadow stopped leaning on the wall and looked at Rouge.
" did you find anything?" .
" oh we found Something alright " knuckles said with a small grin
Rouge hands shadow another document.
As shadow starts to look through the document Rouge starts to talk.
" we found out his name,
his name is . . ."

"Miles " said Rouge.
