Elina's POV :

She was Adele.

If this had happened at any other time, I

would have panicked, but now, I was just

too tired to be excited.

I was so disappointed in life that even

seeing Adele didn't change anything

because I knew she didn't care-just like

everyone else.

But her eyes...

They were filled with concern, like she

was suffering alongside me.

*No, it's just my imagination,* I

convinced myself.

She talked to me for almost an hour,

letting me unload my problems, as if it

would make things a little better.

After that, she said, "Darling, can I have

your number? I really want to talk to

you. You're a rare person-I haven't met

anyone like you in my life. You're truly a

treasure."

I replied, "That's really nice of you."

And I gave her my number, although I

was certain she wouldn't text.

She was Adele, after all-the celebrity of

celebrities.

I went home after that and tried to

return to my normal life, but it was hard.

My mind was on Adele more than usual,

and it was driving me mad.

I knew she wouldn't text-why would

she?

But then, the unexpected happened. My

phone buzzed, and there it was-a

message from her.

**Adele:** _Hey Elina, it's Adele. Hope

you're doing alright. I couldn't stop

thinking about our chat last night. You

seemed like you needed someone to

really listen to you. How are you feeling

today?_

I stared at the screen, unsure if this was

real.

*Adele actually texted me?*

I hesitated for a moment before replying.
