Plagiarism!

I tried calming down my emotions before I post an announcement but I just couldn't. I am absolutely appalled with the sudden news that I received. Not to mention utterly disgusted.

It just came to my knowledge that soft copies of Only Mine is being sold through telegram.

To the plagiarist: 

If you are unaware, making a profit for a book that you don't own a copyright with, is illegal. Each copy of OM (ePub, pdf and softbound) has registered ISBN's from the National Library of the Philippines. I am saying this because maybe you are dumb enough to not know or just plain stupid to do such crime.

If you aren't creative and uninspirable enough, stealing 'my work' won't help you. It just makes you dumber. I'll translate it in Tagalog nalang so you can comprehend better—Hindi magagamot ng pagnanakaw ng pinaghirapan ng iba yang katangahan mo!

To those who are tolerating this stupid girl who are selling my work, if you can't afford the 350 pesos, why not come to me? I'm on telegram too. Why tolerate such behavior when y'all know that it's wrong from the very start when you asked her 'how much?' 

It's quite offensive that the standard of my craft is being lowered by buying it on a cheaper price just because that's what you can only afford or you chose the 'cut and loose'. 

In my principle, if I want something, I work hard for it. Be mature and stop this sickening behaviour!

Please know that I have an excel file to those whom I gave out a free soft copies as well as those who bought it! I have records. I do not condone this even if you're a student. Shame on you.

I was in the middle of writing when I was informed about this, nakakawalang-gana lang magsulat if there's a brainless creature lurking around, maybe not just on my works but with my other co-author's too. 

Play fair if you want to make a living or learn to ask for help. Hindi ako mahirap kausap. I just know the worth of my works.

I am only selling just so I can get extra savings so I can leave the corporate world early and focus on my passion. Also, I know that not everyone can afford the softbound. Honestly, the royalties that I will get from there is very little lang because of the cost of the printing, and I was perfectly fine with that. That's not even the suggested selling price of the printing company but I still have the last say. 247,000 plus words 'tong OM not to mention the time I spent writing this. 

So disappointing.

I'll be on hiatus for now but that doesn't mean that I will stop my passion just because of this crap. But I'll surely rethink if I will still publish the series here in Wattpad or just finish them and will submit straight for self-publication.
