It was a bright and beautiful morning in the small house. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and the smell of freshly cooked food filled the air. In one of the cozy homes nestled in the town, the  family was getting ready for their daily routine. The sun filtered through the kitchen window, casting  glow over kitchen space. The aroma of miso soup mingled with the smell of freshly cut vegetables. Mina stood at the stove, her hair loosely tied back, humming a soft tune as she stirred the pot.

In the same house but the second floor was filled with echo of two kids and a women fighting to get them ready for school. Hearing  this from the kitchen Mina smiled to herself knowing jeongyeon is struggling for her life.  Her two kids become more chaotic while they are with her wife, with those thoughts she completed cooking.

"Jeong the cooking is done bring the kids to the table" she yelled from the down stairs after hearing the sound the ryujin ran through the steps to the table.

"Mom! Are the pancakes ready yet?" Ryujin asked fromthe table, her voice dripping with impatience.

"No dear pancakes can be eaten tomorrow" Mina replied, glancing over her shoulder with ateasing smile.

Just then, Kiyoshi bounded down the stairs with a backpack hanging over one shoulder. "I'm ready! Let's go!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement.

"Hold on, buddy! You can't rush breakfast," Jeongyeon as she entered the kitchen, already dressed in her work attire. She reached for a cup of miso, but Mina swatted her handaway with a playful glare. "Hands off until everyone's served!" she said, laughter bubbling in her voice.

"Just checking if they're edible," Jeongyeon replied, fencing innocence while winking at Ryujin, who giggled. "mommy, you always say that, and it's always edible!" Ryujin said unable tosuppress her smile.

"True, but I have to keep my chef on her taste, You never know when she might slip a seaweed surprise into the pancake batter"Jeongyeon said, wrapping an arm around Mina's waist, pulling her close.

"Ew! No seaweed in pancakes!" Kiyoshi chimed in,making a face. Mina laughed, shaking her head. "If you are all going talk too much you will not be rewarded with desert tonight" mina said jeongyeon shook her head.

"Dessert? What is it?" Kiyoshi asked, his eyeslighting up. "Not telling! You'll just have to wait," Mina teased, filling the cups with soup. "Can I get a hint?" Ryujin piped up, her curiositypeeked.

"Hmm, it starts with 'mochi'," Mina said, glancing at her daughter witha mischievous grin. "YES! Mochi ice cream?!" Kiyoshi exclaimed, bouncing on histoes. "Maybe... but only if you finish your breakfast!" Mina replied watching the two of them scramble to their seats.

As they dug into their breakfast, the kitchen filled with the sounds of contented munching and the occasional sound of the family members. Jeongyeon leaned back in her chair, surveying her family with a warm smile.

She glanced at Mina, their eyes meeting in a moment of shared amusement. As breakfast came to a close, Mina cleared the table, and thekids finished up. "Don't forget your lunches!" she called, handing them theirbags. "Thanks, Mom!" Kiyoshi said, his mouth still half-full. "Yeah, thanks!"Ryujin added.

"Alright, off you go!The bus will be here any minute,"  jeongyeon  exclaimed and took their bags and lunch bags reminded them, waving them toward the door to wait for the bus.

"See you later!" the two kids waves as the bus arrived.

Jeongyeon turned and walked to Mina, who was still in the kitchen, wiping her hands on a towel. "We survived another breakfast," she said, leaning against the counter with a satisfied sigh. "Barely," Mina replied, laughing as she tossed the towel aside.

"But it's moments like these that make me appreciate our chaos." Jeongyeon stepped closer, wrapping her arms around her waist. "You know, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love this crazy family of ours." "Me too," Mina said softly, her eyes sparkling.

"Ryujin thinks she's too cool for school," Jeongyeon added, smirking. Mina snorted. "Yes, She is too cool for school," she said, shaking her head. "I don't know how it happened. Must be your influence," Jeongyeon teased, pulling her in for a quick kiss.

Jeongyeon leaned in to kiss her. As their lips touched, mina felt a rush of emotions. She felt happy, excited, and a little scared all at the same time. The kiss was soft and gentle, and Mina felt like she was floating on a cloud. It was a feeling she had always experienced with jeongyeon, and she didn't want it to end. After the kiss, mina couldn't stop smiling. She felt like her heart was overflowing with joy.

"I'll be at the office until late," Jeongyeon said, grabbing her keys from the counter. "Don't work too hard!" Mina warnedplayfully. "I'll try not to," Jeongyeon replied with a wink, heading toward thedoor

"And remember, I expect to see a mochi masterpiece tonight!" "Only if you promise to do the dishes!" Mina shot back, laughing."Deal!" Jeongyeon called out as she stepped outside, where the sun had fullyrisen. The day passed in a flurry of activity. Afterschool, the kids returned, their laughter echoing through the house as theyrecounted their day.

"kids come here, Let's focus on the important matter at hand." "What'sthat?" Ryujin asked, walking towards kitchen. "Mochi ice cream!" Mina announced, a gleam inher eye. "Yesssss!" Kiyoshi shouted, pumping his fist in the air.  As they cooked, they talked about their day at school and shared stories with each other. They were excited to show their parents what they had made. As they rolled and shaped the mochi, flour dusted thecountertops, and laughter echoed through the house.

"What happened here Looks like a flour bomb went off?" . Jeongyeon returned home just in time to see thechaos unfold. "Mochi magic!" Kiyoshi exclaimed, holding up aperfectly round piece of dough. "Just wait until you taste it!" Ryujin said, tossing a small ball of mochi at her, which she dodged with a laugh.

Mina handed him a spoonful of mochi ice cream just asKiyoshi launched another dough ball, this time hitting Jeongyeon squarely inthe chest. "Hey!" Jeongyeon exclaimed,  while thekids erupted into laughter, Ryujin teased sticking out her tongue.

"Alright, you two, I declare war!" Jeongyeon shouted. The kitchen transformed into a full-blown food fight, laughter ringing around them as they dodged and weaved, flour flyed everywhere. Eventually, they all collapsed onto the floor in a heap of giggles, covered in flour and bits of mochi.

"You know what? This is my favorite kind of magic the magic of family," Mina agreed, her eyes sparkling. "Exactly!" Jeongyeon said, pulling  her to toss her in the mochi flour.

"Guys today you you can eat the mochi your mom made, i will what my mother in law made" jeongyeon restores, smirking at mina left the kids in confusion. mina understood what jeongyeon said and elbowed her and jeonyeon whine in pain.

"what did grandma cook"

"nothing lets eat the mochi, shall we?" mina said and every other exclaimed.

As they sat there, the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over their chaotic kitchen. The warmth of their laughter filled the air, creating a moment that felt both timeless and fleeting. "Let's make a pact," Ryujin said suddenly, her voice serious but playful. "Every year, we have to have a mochi day" jeongyeon and mina smiled at each other. As time goes everything changed but not the love smile of them for each other.
