You and Nagi stood side by side, unbeknownst to the crowd of rowdy boys outside of the bowling alley entrance. You've yet to make yourselves known to them, since you were feeling a bit nervous. You'd been both looking forward to and fearing this day for the past half-week, your mind spiraling with what could go wrong and what would happen if nobody liked you..."Y/n." Nagi nudged you in the side. You looked up to meet his gaze, watching as his gaze carried a hint of concern. "They're just high school boys, you know."
"I know..." You murmur, pursing your lips.
"You're acting like they're gang members." He sighed.
"They're the same thing!"
"They're basically children."
"Still..." You mumble. "It just, what happens if—"
"They will like you." He assured. "If I like you this much, so will they. It's a no-brainer. Plus, if they don't— which won't happen— we can leave, and I'll quit the team."
"You won't do that."
"I will."
"Oh, Nagi and L/n are here." The boy named Hiori chimed, slipping away from the others to greet you two. You flinched at the mention of your name, which Nagi shook his head at. Hiori approached you, and he had cyan colored hair and a kind smile. "Hey, L/n, it's nice to meet ya."
"Ah— Hi!" You smile back. "You're Hiori, right? It's nice meeting you too!"
You and Nagi had gone over everyone's names on the walk to the bowling place in an effort to calm your nerves. Although, you couldn't remember a handful of them...
"Yeah, that's me." He nodded, pushing some of his hair out of his face. "Okay, settle a bet for us. What did Nagi say when he accepted yer confession? How did he reply??"
"Huh?!" You peep, a blush crawling to your face.
"You guys suck. I already told the truth." Nagi groaned. "Sorry. They all placed bets on what my reaction was to your proposal. I wouldn't lie, Hiori."
"I know, I know!"
"Like we're believin' that!" Karasu laughed, stepping forward as well. He leaned an arm on Hiori. "See, I think Nagi froze up like a lil' boy. Hiori thinks Nagi's tellin' the truth."
"I think Nagi said something like, 'Ok'. He's a robot most of the time, anyway." Otoya mimicked with a laugh, walking up as well. "Oh, by the way, nice to meet you, Y/n. We've heard a lot about you."
"Ah, nice to meet you too—"
And another boy appeared behind you— "Well, I think Nagi didn't realize you were talking to him at first, and was like, way confused." Bachira giggled, poking your boyfriend on the cheek. Nagi swatted him off with a blank expression.
"That's such a stupid bet, Bachira, they were alone! Are you an idiot?" Raichi yelled, walking up to squash the boy's hair.
"The monster told me to bet it!"
"You're schizophrenic." Reo sighed, standing beside Otoya. "Oh, and I bet that Nagi was elated and said something like 'of course!' like a schoolgirl—"
"Shut up, Reo." Nagi scoffed.
Now, it was like a sea of super tall men surrounding you, and you felt like a big about to be squashed. Isagi finally strolled up to you among the boys, dragging Bachira and Raichi out of your personal space. "Quit suffocating her, guys! You okay, Y/n?"
You nervously laughed. "Yeah, I'm fine, I'm fine. Well, uh Nagi, what did you tell them you said?"
Nagi pondered for a second, humming lightly as he did so. "I remember saying 'yes'. Didn't I?"
