The distance between Fourth and Gemini continues to grow, fueled by the unspoken fears and doubts that have taken root in their relationship. Fourth tries to maintain a semblance of normalcy, but the weight of his secret and the knowledge of Gemini's uncertainty gnaw at him, making it impossible to truly connect with the person he loves.

One evening, after another strained and awkward dinner, Fourth reaches his breaking point. The silence between them has become unbearable, each unspoken word a thorn in his heart. He can't go on like this—pretending everything is fine when, deep down, he's terrified that their relationship is crumbling.

As they clean up the dishes, Fourth finally gathers the courage to confront Gemini. His voice is quiet but firm, the tension in the air palpable. "Gemini, we need to talk."

Gemini looks up, surprised by the seriousness in Fourth's tone. He sets down the dish he was drying and turns to face Fourth, his expression cautious. "What is it? What's been bothering you?"

Fourth hesitates, the words catching in his throat. He can feel his heart pounding, his hands trembling as he tries to steady himself. Finally, he takes a deep breath and forces himself to speak. "I heard you, Gemini. I heard what you said to your friends the other day. About us. About not seeing a future together."

Gemini's eyes widen in shock, a mixture of guilt and defensiveness flashing across his face. "Fourth, that... that was just talk. You know how it is with friends. We say things we don't always mean."

But Fourth isn't convinced. He shakes his head, his voice trembling with emotion. "No, Gemini. You meant it. I could hear it in your voice. You don't think we're going to last, do you?"

Gemini opens his mouth to respond, but the words seem to fail him. For a moment, the room is filled with silence, the tension between them thick enough to cut with a knife. Finally, Gemini sighs and runs a hand through his hair, his expression conflicted. "It's not that simple, Fourth. I care about you, but... we're so young. There's so much we haven't done, so much we haven't figured out. I don't know if I'm ready to settle down, to make those kinds of decisions yet."

The words hit Fourth like a physical blow, the pain of them sinking deep into his chest. He feels a mix of anger, hurt, and despair rising up inside him, and before he can stop himself, the words come spilling out. "So what does that mean for us? Are you just waiting for an excuse to leave? Because if that's what you're thinking, then maybe you should just go."

Gemini's eyes flash with frustration. "That's not what I'm saying! I'm just trying to be realistic. We have so much ahead of us, Fourth. I'm not saying I want to leave, but... I don't want to make promises I can't keep."

The argument escalates quickly, fueled by the emotions that both of them have been holding back for so long. Fourth's voice trembles with anger and pain as he confronts Gemini, his words sharp and cutting. "So what, Gemini? You think it's better to just keep things casual? To avoid making any real commitments because you're afraid of what might happen? That's not how relationships work!"

Gemini, defensive and frustrated, snaps back. "And what about you, Fourth? You've been distant, closed off. You're the one who won't talk to me, who keeps pushing me away. How am I supposed to know what you're thinking when you won't let me in?"

The accusation stings, and Fourth feels a surge of guilt. He knows that Gemini is right—he has been distant, consumed by his secret and his fears. But that doesn't make the hurt any less real. "You wouldn't understand, Gemini. You don't know what it's like to be afraid that everything you've built could fall apart at any moment."

Gemini's expression softens for a moment, a flicker of concern in his eyes. "Fourth, if something's wrong, you need to tell me. We can't fix this if you keep shutting me out."

But Fourth, overwhelmed by the intensity of the moment, finds himself unable to open up. The words stick in his throat, and instead, he lashes out, his voice trembling with a mix of anger and heartbreak. "Maybe there's nothing to fix, Gemini. Maybe we're just fooling ourselves. Maybe we're better off apart."

The words hang in the air, heavy and final. Gemini stares at him, shocked and hurt, but too proud to back down. "Is that what you really want, Fourth? To end things?"

Fourth hesitates, his heart screaming at him to take it back, to reach out and hold on to what they have. But the fear and the pain are too strong, clouding his judgment. "Maybe it is. Maybe it's for the best."

Gemini's face hardens, the hurt in his eyes giving way to resignation. He takes a step back, his voice cold and distant. "Fine. If that's what you want, then we're done."

And just like that, it's over. The relationship that once meant everything to both of them is shattered in the space of a few painful words. Fourth watches in stunned silence as Gemini turns and walks out of the apartment, the sound of the door closing behind him echoing in the empty space.

For a long time, Fourth stands frozen in place, unable to process what just happened. The silence in the apartment is deafening, the emptiness a stark contrast to the life they once shared. The weight of his decision crashes down on him, and he feels a wave of regret and sorrow that nearly brings him to his knees.

But even as the tears begin to fall, Fourth knows that there's no going back. The words have been spoken, the bridge burned. He's alone now, left to deal with the consequences of his choices and the life-changing secret that still lingers unspoken.

As the hours pass, the reality of the breakup sinks in. Fourth is devastated, but a part of him clings to the belief that this is for the best. He tells himself that it's better to face the future on his own, without the uncertainty of whether Gemini will stay or go.

But deep down, the pain of losing Gemini is almost too much to bear. The emptiness in his heart feels like a wound that will never heal, and the thought of facing the coming months—of raising a child alone—feels overwhelming and terrifying.

And yet, Fourth knows that he has no choice. He made his decision, and now he must live with it. The future is uncertain, and the road ahead is fraught with challenges. But for now, all he can do is take it one day at a time, hoping that somehow, some way, he'll find the strength to move forward.
