Alexander's pov
After last night I didn't think Chloe could get any hotter but she clearly likes to prove me wrong. I almost tripped over my own skates when I heard her scream and it felt like my heart had stopped beating for a moment when I looked up and saw her in my jersey, she is wearing my name and my number.
Many women before her wore my number but I did not care about any of them. There are probably dozens of them wearing my name today, but I only see her.
I don't have much time to calm down my, now very hard, dick as I hear the whistle and the puck drop. For a second she made me forget where I was but it is not time nor place to imagine her body underneath mine. That will have to wait until we win.
I gotta give it to the Atlanta's Phoenix guys, they ain't too bad, but we are better. Our defence isn't the strongest yet, but they got me. I stop the pucks no matter what, especially since Chloe is up in the stands watching me.
Liam took the opportunity to be the captain that he is, managing the team better than I ever seen him do. This is the season to prove that we are the best before we retire, buy huge houses next to each other and have families of our own.
Thinking about the said family, flashes of Choe are in the back of my mind, how good she would look standing next to me, being my wife and the mother of my children. I was always a family man, but I never thought I'd actually have one any time soon. Chloe, however, makes me want to change that. I want her, and as the final buzzer went off, signalling the end of the game.
Winning with a shutout is something that every goalie wants but I wanted to see Chloe smile as she jumped up and down in the stands. The Miami Vipers cap covering her green eyes that are probably shinning with happiness of a win. One thing I know for sure about Chloe King is that she lives for hockey and her job and when those two are combined, it is pretty much her life.
I forced myself to stop thinking about Chloe and the wish for the family when I saw Liam and the rest of the team skate towards me.
"We fucking did it dude! The first game started with a bang!" Liam's forehead smashed against my helmet fully snapping me into reality. Celebrating with the team is one of the best things there is especially since my best friend is on the same team.
Taking off my own gear I threw it on top of the net before joining in, once again, in the celebration of the first game and the first win of the season. We were all shouting and celebrating for what seemed ages in front of the crowd, where I still tracked Chloe's movement. When I saw her get up from her seat and leave through the shouting crowd, I tried my best to not feel disappointed but at the end of the day, I am only human.
My mood has dulled a tad bit seeing her leave, but focusing on the team was the priority. I can't let a woman affect me this much, especially when she is just a want of my desires. Not my wife, girlfriend or even someone who is considering becoming one.
"Dude, what the fuck is up with your mood? We won and you look like you swallowed a lemon." Liam said as he elbow smashed my stomach, if it wasn't for all the gear, I'd probably be on the ground trying to catch my breath.
"For fucks sake, I don't know what's happening. I saw Chloe leave and not stay for the celebration and my mood soured. She is just all over in my head." I groan as I take off my almost-soaking clothes. One might say being a goalie ain't hard, but I would just put them in the net for twenty minutes and then ask them again.
"You got to get her out of your system. She is like a brand new toy that you got a taste of but can't get." Liam shakes his head as he gets fully naked and we both go into the showers. We smell like rats. Actually, I think those are pretty clean animals. Let's go with a skunk maybe?
