"I don't wanna hide it anymore...."

It's a usually working friday, when me and ken went together to the main office, we are waiting for the approval of our project. We talk casually about work, while waiting.
I realised the he was really a genuinely honest but soft spoken. I misjudge him for that, he was making me comfortably enjoying my time with him. A few minutes have passed, when a lady from the main office. I didn't even thought that only a few minutes had just passed, it felt like an eternity. Wow... He really have a effect on me.
I picked up myself as we listen to the announcement of the lady,

" The Project will launch next week! It's ready for a showcase next week. Congratulations to your teams." the lady from the office, declare it proudly.

"Thank you, Ms." ken thanked the lady.

"thank you so much! Ms. This is good news!" I said excitedly.

The lady bowed at us and went back to the office. I was overjoyed by the news that I didn't even realise that I hugging ken, and was limping nonstop. He silently looked at me and enjoyed my reaction, he didn't mind it at all. I immediately realised what I did and quickly snap back, I let go of him. I then apologise for my action.

"ehemmm! I think I went overboard there, I'm sorry ken I mean mr. Felip" I said while cautiously step a few meter away from him.

He chuckled and said,

"why did you become formal for a second? It's okay, I can't even deny, I'm also happy" he said as he was looking at me.

"shall we tell it to others?" he added.

"Yes, please." I reply happily.

We went and shared the news to others, and they all cheered happily and excitedly...

" PARTY! ,, PARTY! ,, PARTY! " everyone chanting.

"the party will be happening tonight!" said jah.

"I thought next week pa? 'Pag katapos ng launching?" I asked.

"Iba rin yun, stell. This party is for the approval of our launch" he explained.

"ohhh....? Ok." I said. As I turned around, I went up to ken to ask him, if he would like to come.

"ken.." i tap his back.

He turned around. I didn't realise I was so close to him. I was taken aback from him, it got me startled.

"yes..?" he reply.

"ahh eh! I was just gonna ask if would you like to come with me tonight at jah's party?" I embarrassedy asked. God, why is he so handsome?

"I'll try..." he replied shortly.

"ohh..? Ok." I quickly turn around and never looked back, hayst I still can't get my emotions right.

I slapped my cheeks lightly.

Snap out of it, stell?! He's your boss! You can't like him. And don't expect high that he'll like you back!? I said to myself to wake up to the reality.
